Description: Spur Gastropub An intimate urban pub in Belltown. Plates to share. Cocktails to entice. Chefs Brian McCracken and Dana Tough opened Spur in Seattle’s Belltown in 2008 and already it’s been recognized by Food & Wine magazine as one of the country’s top restaurants. Acknowledged for turning out some of the best dishes and cocktails in town by local media, the Chefs were selected as "Rising Star Chefs" nationally by the industry insider magazine StarChefs. In addition to earning the attention of Wine & Spirits magazine, their cocktails have made Spur one of Seattle’s top 10 bars. The Chefs’ collaboration dates back to their time in the kitchen at Maria Hines’ Earth and Ocean restaurant, together on Hines’ traveling team at the 2005 James Beard Dinner in New York, and today creating their menus at Spur.

The meat dishes were all very good - we had the pork sliders, roasted chicken and the beef. The sauces/garnishes brought out the flavor of the meat without being overpowering. For us the other dishes which stood out were the tomato topped crostini and the chicken liver pate.

Interesting selection of cocktails and craft beers. Service was responsive.

I loved all the little details of the food with many layers of tastes and textures. The chef's really strive to make a well balanced plate with various colours and presentations. Great service as well.

First visit but will be back. Fantastic old pub decor local restaurant with interesting and creative food. Roasted Washington chicken with apricot and mustard greens as well as sweetbreads with English green peans and ramps were very good. Ice cream of the day- white peach- was delicious. Local crowd makes for a good atmosphere. Welcoming, friendly and perfect service.

This is my third time here when visiting and it's now Number 1 on my last of places to visit. The food is superbly prepared, amazing flavour combinations and a real treat.

Absolutely love the Beets and the Sliders with the marmalade "drops". Cocktails are also really good and the service is superb.

Also love that the menu changes regularly to reflect the season, I'm waiting for the Brussel Sprouts to come back in season as they were amazing.

We were here after someone gave us a recommendation and glad we came. Fantastic food - we had the salmon crostini, tagliatelli, venison tartar, slow cooked pork cheeks, and the beets. Everything was fantastic. Nice choice of wines and drinks. Waiter was super nice, space is great. Would come back to see how the menu changes.
