“Fun, Facts and Food”

Our group of 5 thoroughly enjoyed the Seattle Bites Food Tour of Pike Place Market. Anna immediately set us all at ease and provided an intimate look at the market with lots of facts about the history of the market and its present day use. We loved all the stops and were impressed by the quality and quantity of the servings which ranged from banana and nutella crepes to chicken tikka masala. We will recommend this tour to all our friends.

“The Best Tour in Seattle”
Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

We took the tour our third morning in Seattle and were only sad we didn't take it sooner. What a fabulous tour and a great way to get to see so much of the Market we had not yet seen. Our guide, Kristen, was wonderful. She was fun and gave great information about the history of the Market, each of the vendors, and Seattle itself. We had everything including salmon flatbread, crepes, clam chowder, chicken masala, sausage with sauerkraut, smoked salmon, fresh fruit slices, and wine tasting; and, I am sure I am still forgetting some. This is a must do tour while in Seattle!

“Great way to see the market”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

We did this food tour the morning after we arrived in Seattle. What a great way to see the market! Although at times it felt like we were moving in circles, we had great food and learned a lot of the history behind the market. While I don't remember our guide's name, she did an excellent job with the presentation and answered lots of questions. She even, while at the winery, learned that I didn't like red, dry wines so she went back and got me some dessert wine, which isn't part of the tour. The headsets really make the tour as you can clearly hear everything over the crowd and the guide didn't have to yell. We had a great time and would recommend it to friends.

“Best Food Tour ever!”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

Better late then never, I guess! We were visiting Seattle in December and booked a tour with Seattle Bites to get to know the Pike Place Market. We have done quite a few tours travelling the world, but this one is by far the best. We were a small group, and our guide, Kristen, did an outstanding job in not only getting us fed but also making sure we had unique insights into Seattle, the market and all the people working there. Also worth noting, we are no native speakers (coming from Germany) and yet everything was totally understandable, plus one of us could not eat seafood and Kristen was extremely flexible in adjusting to that and offering alternatives.
Also worth noting that this is real value for money. The tour takes multiple hours without any rush, and you do not need to eat again during that day.
So overall, if you are in Seattle for even just a day, this is what you should be doing if you want to get to know the city!

“Great food and lots of history!”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Seattle Bites was a great experience both in terms of the food sampled as well as all the history associated with Pikes Market...our tour guide Marla was fantastic as she was knowledgeable and sweet and friendly! The tastings ranged from fresh fruit, yummy clam chowder, salmon a couple of different ways, sausage, great coffee (this is Seattle), and more....there is not a formal sit-down meal if that's what u are expecting....anyone into food and alittle history should really enjoy this tour....I recommend doing first then go back to the market place later on to do what you want...
