“Constant fun for your taste buds!”
Reviewed August 18, 2012

Awesome-ness in every bite! The meals here are called "thalis" - which consists of either 7 or 10 little dishes on one plate. There is a larger meat or fish portion, then lots of hot and cold dishes accompanying it - the flavors really blend and make your mouth so happy that lots of your dinner conversation consists of "this is so good! This is so fun!" And don't miss the dessert "thali" - a bunch of tastes of different, interesting sweet things - was that pepper in the dense chocolate? Oh and I forgot to mention that the service was great and the atmosphere casual, welcoming and warm. Don't miss it!

“Great food and ambience...very original!”
Reviewed August 17, 2012 via mobile

I was taken to Poppy's this evening by a friend and the food was amazing. A very different concept of food being served before, which I haven't come across and the flavours were combined so well together, I was truly blown away. I had the wagyu beef 7 dish thali and it was plentiful for one person. I left feeling full, but utterly satisfied. If only I lived in Seattle, I'd be coming back for more every week!

“this chef is great!”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

We heard of it from neighborhood "foodies" and it did not disappoint. Even my mixed drink was perfect. They had my favorite oysters, Shigoku, one of 3 starters for our table - all terrific! My main of Wagyu beef with the tray of unbelievable tastes just hit every note! The price was right, service professional, and wine by the glass or from the list affordable and thoughtful. 'nuf said, just go there, and I'll be back!

“Life changing”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

It's restaurants like this that make me sad I've ever given any other restaurant all 5's. My husband and I shared the meaty thali and two starters. Everything was spectacular, out of the park amazing, my only recommendation would just be to make sure you save room for the dessert thali, it does not disappoint.
