We arrived at the hotel several hours early and was told that our room was not ready yet, but we would get a room upgrade, and the room would be available by 3 PM (which it was). The hotel is within walking distance of Pioneer Square, Pike Place Market, most ferries and major shopping and restaurant areas. We had a corner room facing the front of the hotel in the "added on" section. The room was very clean, had huge windows on two sides, a separate dining area and a separate comfortable bedroom. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We were very happy with the room and the stay and had only a few minor quibbles: wifi service was quite spotty, the only way to get ice was via room service, and being on the second floor, the room was a bit noisy. A higher floor would have been better. All in all, a very good experience.
