This is just what we were looking for on our weekend getaway to Seattle. Our room was absolutely huge and I loved the decor. The cocktail hour in the lobby areas was buzzing with people and a lot of fun. Service was good but not great.

Lovely room, service, breakfast dining. Convenient one time charge for in and out valet parking for use of car to outlying suburbs visiting family yet centrally located near galleries and Seattle Art Museum, restaurants and walking tours. Will definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: A king room felt like luxury of a more expensive large accommodation property.

This is the second time I have been to this hotel and I ate in the restaurant both times. The food is excellent, especially Sunday brunch. We enjoyed walking to the market as well as the shops and restaurants by the water. The happy hour glass of wine was nice as well. The room is fine with plenty of room. The decor is well done, and the staff was great. The $40 parking is too much but we had a half price special from online thought at $20 plus taxes, this can be a bit much as well. We will be back.

Perfect location for nightlife. We had the King Deluxe room which was very spacious, the bed was comfy as well as the pillows! I asked for a corner unit and got my wish ;) The bathroom was pretty big, with a nice sized walk-in shower (no tub) quality toiletries. Room serivce was good, I had a turkey panini which was delicious! Next time i'll try their other property - Hotel Monaco.

Room Tip: If you'd like a window that opens, just ask when making your reservation & dont forget to si...

From the moment I checked in every staff member gave their name and asked me to call them if I needed anything. They brought a pitcher of ice water to my room wothin minutes of chrcking in. The restaurant manager offered to make some calls to help me get a Kimpton hotel in a sold out city where I am traveling next week. They gladly prepared my meal with substitutions. This is Ritz Carlton like service at a lower price point. The hotel rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated, not your typical every room alike hotel chain.

We stayed here for 5 days because we got married in Seattle. This was back in April 2010. The staff was great at the front desk and at the Library. We got two of the deluxe rooms double queens. One deluxe queen and a suite. The suite was exactly as the website described. One if the double queen deluxe was fine since it was located in the second newer building. For the second one they gave us the room off the first older building and it was small compared to the same type of room located in the newer building. They had no problems changing us to the newer area. The same happened with the King deluxe, but we did not move since we were already unpacked. The other thing to know is if you ask for a taxi make sure that it is a valid metered taxi. We asked for a taxi and instead they got us some cars/vans with a driver. They charged us $25 to get to Anthony's on the pier. It was a 5 min drive and we had no choice but to pay. I complained to the front desk and the people at the door and they acted unbothered by the complaint. Great hotel, great service, great location just make sure you get placed in a deluxe room if you payed for it and only ride in valid metered taxis...

We stayed at the Alexis Hotel in Seattle for two nights in January. All we can say is this is a wonderful boutique hotel.
As novice Kimpton members we did not know what to expect from our first stay at a Kimpton hotel. We need not have worried, as everything about this hotel is friendly, warm, welcoming with a touch of luxury ... without the luxury price-tag!
The location was perfect .. walking distance from Pike Place, Pioneer Square, the Waterfront and all the shopping you could need. The room we had was beautiful .. complete with a working fire place and four-poster bed.
Each night the hotel hosted a wine tasting in the lobby featuring local vineyards. It wasn't just one small taste but a few good glasses later we were happy to retire to the restaurant for some delicious food to complete the night.
We will definitely be back ....

There is nothing quite like an unexpectedly hospitable stay when travelling. You'll always have a warm welcome at the Kimpton Alexis.
