Wasn't sure about an 'underground tour'. So glad we did it. It was interesting, informative, humourous, fun and reasonably fast paced. I learned so much about interesting Seattle history, saw first hand the 'original city' and learned about the raising of the street levels, how Seattle started, the good the bad and the ugly. I would recommend this as a must do to anyone going to Seattle. Walk is 'easy' probably 1-2 km all together, guided, safe and interesting. From old rubble to the stories from the guides, truly enjoyable.

Our teenage kids who are not museum, tour kids, gave it a 4/5. My wife and I, 5/5.

Great tour with very interesting and informative look at Seattle and how it was founded as a city. While the tour clearly states it only covers three blocks underground, I found myself wishing there cold have been more, but very cool to see that we did see. Our tour guide was excellent- funny, knowledgeable, and quirky but not in a cheesy way. Definitely on the "tourist" list but we felt it was worth it and we walked away with a greater understanding of Pioneer Square and Seattle's history. Even noticed all of the skylights in the sidewalks in other areas of town! A great tour to catch.

Seattle history unveiled during this hour. Seattle was originally built at sea level which caused all sorts of problems for the city, especially when flush toilets were invented! The tour guide explains the whole story (with much humor, he was very good) followed by a walk underground, which is quite interesting. You get to see pieces of what the city looked like, along with some of the leftover furniture, and the stories behind it. Fascinating. The only complaint was the very young child and infant brought along. They talked and cried so loudly it was sometimes impossible to hear the tour guide. If you're interested in a bit of history, this is a tour for you.

A unique glimpse into the history of 19th century Seattle. A bit pricy, but interesting and informative. Our teenage daughter thought it was fun.

This is a "must do" for anyone who enjoys history or just the odd development of cities as the comedy of errors that created the underground is a testament to humanity's inability to be rational at times. The tour guide, Shane, was a great blend of humor and fact, making the tour interesting as well as fun to embark on.

I've been to Seattle a number of times, but will never look at it quite the same way ever again thanks to this experience.
