Enjoyed the tour. The photos and videos were a nice touch. The tour guide needed to research a little more about the chocolate process (I am sure that I am not the only one who has ever ask my questions) but otherwise was a nice, friendly person. The samples were yummy! Good selection of chocolate the gift store. The factory location is little off the main roads but worth the time and effort.

How can a chocolate factory take itself so seriously? Theo Chocolate staff are evangelists for "fair trade," organic, high-cacao content, recycling, and all things self-righteous. "Theo" might as well be an abbreviation of "Theocracy of Chocolatism" rather than for the chemical in chocolate that made my friend's dog so sick she had to have her stomach pumped ($600 vet bill). Tourists (and the reluctant hosts who bring them and are seeing the show/tour for the third time) come out of the tour feeling so full of chocolate religion that they buy way more than they need at the gift shop. When you eat the samples, and again when you get home and enjoy the taste of this treat, you realize all the justifications are unnecessary; the taste is so good.

This was a nice rainy day, fun tour we did. We enjoyed the tour and the $6.00 each adult was a nice treat to pay for a enjoyable time.

Fun little tour. We used a Groupon for this and really enjoyed finding out about the process of making chocolate and getting to sample it also!
