Owner description: For one of the best views of Seattle head to Kerry Park, a small park located on the south side of Queen Anne Hill. A photo from here is Seattle postcard-perfect, featuring ferries crossing Elliott Bay, the city skyline with the Space Needle in the forefront and, if weather conditions are favorable, a view of Mt. Rainier.

Just stop here to get your iconic Seattle skyline picture. It is a very small park, more of an overlook. You can take the #2 or #3 bus from Seattle Center (not too far from the space needle) up here. Not much to do at this stop, but worth it for the great souvenir photos you can take.

We took a public bus to the Queen Anne area and walked about 3 blocks to the park. The park is very small, but provides the most spectacular views of the Seattle area. We were glad we avoided the parking problem mentioned by others. We had been told by a resident we met on the bus that we should walk further down past Kerry Park about 3 blocks to Parsons Park - a small garden with free admission. It was lovely and another bonus is a small overlook of a different part of Seattle not visible from Kerry Park. We enjoyed walking through the lovely residential area and soaking up a little more of Seattle. A very cheap outing - just bus fair!

A small park with a spectacular view.
From here you will get a 270 degree view of the Seattle Skyline including the famous Space Needle and the enormous sea.
Definitely, it's a postcard photo-shot from here.
Do not miss it.

Absolutely wonderful views and a very peaceful spot to take in the city! Parking might be tricky if the park is busy, but just keep trying. And check out the nice Queen Anne neighborhood nearby.

We went to Kerry Park after dark. It has a mesmerizing view. Great for kids and adults. Be prepared to drive around the neighborhood to find a parking place. Extemely narrow streets up there.
