I went here on my first visit to Seattle and was sold. I moved here just about 9 months after that night!
Gorgeous view of Space Needle, downtown and Elliott Bay. During the day it's busy with tourists and locals alike, and at night it's one of the most romantic after-dinner stops. View is great even when it's cloudy, and world-class when it's not.
There's plenty of street parking right by the park and in the nearby streets, even on busy days I've never had trouble finding a spot.
There are a few benches, but the main attraction is the view. Good for 30 minutes or so if you're a tourist, longer if you have a picnic lunch to enjoy.
One of my favorite places in Seattle!
