Had heard about the market, the incredible flowers, fresh fish, fruits/vegetables and local products and it was such a treat. We visited the original Starbuck's and ate our way through the market!! Went early in the morning before it got really crowded and that made it even more fun.

We walked and tasted throughout the market. We saw the flying fish, bought dried lavender, ate and ate. I would go during the day when there is sunlight and not in the dusk as it gets a little creepy in the area.

I use to live in Seattle and took Pike Place Market for granted. I would only go when family was in town to show them. Now I go as a tourist. It has so many items to look at. From food to flowers to flying fish.
If you are in Seattle make sure to see this and eat at one of the restaurants on nearby streets and in the market itself. We are at the Pink Door on Ally Strret. Actually it is in the ally.

We just spent a weekend in Seattle and spent most of it at the market. There is so much to see and eat that we didn’t get it all done. The independent vendors are great.

Fun with a lot to see. If you can, go in the morning during the week, you can enjoy it so much more unless you like being pushed around in crowds. Also, don't eat before going, instead try the delicious pastries & eat in the area.

This is the place where they throw the fish from one employee over the counter and stands to another employee (their stall is located right under the main sign towards the end of the market). This is an open air market (some section/parts are covered, but still open on the sides). Sells mostly fresh fish, flowers, some produce, hand made goods, etc. You can spend as much or as little time as you want here and buy almost anything. Sometimes quite crowded, especially around the fish throwing stall (if no one is buying fish at the time, you can ask them to throw and fish and they will - you may have to catch it).

Spent a couple of hours here with my husband. It was ok but it is very busy and chaotic. Waited for the flying fish "show", which was a couple of guys throwing a fish between each other.

The market was neat to see but very crowded and nothing special to note. Won’t need to come back again. The fish mongers were cool to watch and decent places to grab a bite.

A great market place where the fish guys throw salmon at each other. We first went on a Saturday but if you have to go on the weekend, go early. We went next on a Tuesday, much quieter.

Lots of things to look at, jewellery, gifts, art plus seafood, meat and veg. One of the iconic Seattle must see places.

Had a great time walking through Pikes Place Market. It was busy on a beautiful Sunday but we had a blast. Checked out a few little shops. They had amazing seafood, beautiful flowers and great food! Even though it was busy, it was great! You should also visit Rachel’s Ginger Beer, Beechers Cheese, the original Starbucks and Pikes Chowder.
