A very nice tourist attraction. Many things to see and do. Lots of great restaurants, craft places and the fish market was great too see how they perform when someone would place a order for fish very entertaining .Nice to see where the first Starbucks store originated from. A unique place to visit.

Such a cool and funky place to visit. We went on a Saturday and it was really busy... not sure if going on a weekday would be better ...... I am apt to believe that the crowds (aka. people watching) is part of the entertainment :)
Cool booths. Fish Market was awesome and the guys were super entertaining. Flower "shop" was selling massive bouquets of beautiful flowers for $10. Gum Wall was funky.
A definite must do!

A great place to stroll around, snack, and see the sights. Pike Place Fish Market is a must see for its exciting staff and fish tossing. A myriad of fresh seafood throughout the market worth looking at, among endless stops for good eats.

WOW, that says it all about this market. Such a diverse collection of vendors. The cut flower vendors offer a huge bouquet for $10-$15. These would go anywhere from $40 to $70 on the East coast. The fruit and vegatable vendors offered fresh picked choices. But it was the seafood vendors that had huge prawns, crabs, Copper River salmon , and anyother kind of fish you wanted. We enjoyed the Pike's Place Fish Market and the "flying" fish. It was quite the show. Of course, the original Starbucks is there also, and despite the line, we had to have the "experience".

I've seen my share of markets around the world, and this one is nothing to write home about. It's really small market that pretty much every big city has. The reason I gave it a 4 stars is really the little shops around it and the unique gum wall that were more entertaining then the market itself. We took the advise to go early, but on the 4th of July, vendors didn't even open their spots until 11am! The next day they were there a bit earlier, and on a Saturday the earliest, which is to expect, but still not even set up at 9:30am!
