There are tons of bakery goods and produce to snack on. All is fresh and yummy. Seeing the fish market is amazing. One place in particular where they throw the fish and chant is fun and draws big crowds. It's a big place with shops on street level and below and across the street too. Tons of fresh, pretty flowers for cheap. Early morning before the crowds get big is when I recommend going.

So many "shops" from fish to flowers. Allow lots of time so you don't miss anything! We loved watching the fish mongers throw fish (near the entrance under the Market sign).

I went here when I was in Seattle for business. Not sure what I was expecting but the actual Pike Place Market was a little underwhelming for me. I liked the business just across the street better but overall it was ok just seemed to always have so many people walking around. The best part was probably the view from the side of the market looking across and seeing the ferries run.

Great location and a fun place to go. Some of the stores seem to purchase a bunch of crap and try to resell it, but others are great and some really nice home made items.

Pike Place Market is a must see ... lots of interesting places to shop , eat , and lots of interesting people . It is very crowded ... but still lots of fun.
