This is a market with a lot of variety. Great place to go for a quick bite (many restaurants with waterfront views) and relatively good seafood (not the best I have ever had but still ok). Of course, this is also the birthplace of Starbucks, so a mandatory visit to the original shop is in order!

Seems to be always busy with people

As it is close to the main shopping/downtown area, an easy place to get to

Pike Place Market has something for everyone. Down town, on the water. Fresh caught fish on ice, fresh vegetables, jewelry, art, every kind of snack known to man and great seafood restaurants. We were there on a Sunday and I think everyone else who lives in Seattle was there as well! A great place to visit!

I love this place with the fish antics being the best! My only complaint is that on weekends it is VERY crowded and hard to view some of the booths. Overall though, don't miss it

I had heard about the market through a few college classes and even read about it prior to my Seattle visit but it was beyond my expectations! I'm from Maine and we have local farmer's markets but NOTHING like this! The Market is HUGE, you could easily spend half a day if not more wandering through if you have the time. Fresh flowers, fresh fish, local baked goods, tiny boutiques. An incredibly unique experience and definitely one not to miss!
