We enjoyed our stay at the Roosevelt, from the very beginning. Our concierge was able to get us excellent reservations for the Space Needle restaurant, and gave us great insight on other things to do and see while in Seattle. The hotel is steps away from great shopping and all the best restaurants. We walked everywhere and the hotel made it easy to get to all points of interest. The staff was really great and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a boutique hotel that is not a cookie cutter type of hotel room. We stayed in room 2003, which was a corner room and afforded us great views of the city from two sides.

It would be a stretch to refer to this as a "boutique" hotel. It is more of a budget hotel. The room was pretty small and it and the bathroom were nothing to write home about. Think Holiday Inn that is overdue for a renovation. With that said, the location is fantastic, Easy walk to Pike Street Market and the waterfront and downtown shopping is right nearby. The monorail to the Space Needle is only a few blocks away and the LINK lightrail station which can take you out to the airport or to CenturyLink and Safeco Field is just down the street. Downtown Seattle is quite expensive and while the hotel was not cheap, it would still be hard to beat the price.

Our stay at the Roosevelt was fine, but for the price you have to pay to stay here I'm not sure the risks are worth it. Those risks are that you are in a room next to somebody who makes any noise at all. I could quite easily hear our neighbor singing along to "Baby Got Back" in the morning. He wasn't screaming it out, either - yet I could hear him enunciating every word. It was like he was in the same room as us. Every door shutting on the floor also reverberated into our room. Thankfully the people beside us were not the type to stay up late or make a bunch of noise, because we heard everything they did (and vice versa I'm sure).

Other than that the hotel was good. The decor was elegant and the service was excellent. The location was even better. However, spending a couple hundred dollars to listen to the normal speaking voice conversations of the room next to you is not worth it.

Great Location for restaurants, shopping, walking. Room 1001 was very noisy coming from
outside the Building. Bed next to window very Creaky. Bathrooms Small but clean and adequate Would have been nice to have a Restaurant inside Hotel but plenty of places to eat around the Hotel. All in all I would stay again because of Location but check out the Room First.

Stayed there for 3 nights in deluxe king, bett was comfortable, room size good but bathroom too small there was no space to put a vanity case and only one person could fit into that bathroom.
They don't have restaurant so you have to run out for breakfast even if there are all lot of places around I found it not convenient.
Location is good but could be noisy if on lower floors.
Would recommend a hotel with breakfast and park package which would be better deal.

The hotel is 2 blocks from the link light rail station that took us to and from the Seatac Airport to Westlake station. We stayed 4 nights. We were greeted by front desk staff who efficiently checked us in. We ended up in room 1104 which was a nice spacious room for 2 females... But mirrors were only in the bathroom which was a bit inconvenient for getting ready . Good temperature control. There is some street noise but never disturbed us in the morning or at night. Not sure if we had neighbors as our corner room was very quiet that way. However, when we left our room mid morning we were gone all day. We walked from the hotel to Pioneer Square one way and to the Space Needle the other. We love to shop at Macey's which was nearby but many stores, shops, and good restaurants also nearby. It was also an easy walk to Pike's Market as well as the Waterfront/ferries.

Room Tip: Corner room was a great size.

The Hotel Roosevelt is located in a prime spot for visiting Seattle. We took the mass transit from the airport (also quite nice, convenient, and inexpensive). We walked out of last stop station and two blocks to the hotel. Seattle is a wonderful city for walking...we made the walk down to the farmer/seafood market at pier (incredible cinnamon rolls TWICE). The staff was friendly and helpful for ordering a car to the cruise dock. This is a great place to stay prior to a cruise launch. Enjoy!
