Ideally located in the heart of downtown Seattle, the Hotel Vintage Park - a Kimpton Hotel, has character, a friendly staff, valet parking, and clean, comfortable rooms.
Although an older property, the Hotel Vintage Park has been renovated and brought up to Kimpton standards. My wife and I stayed in room 908, which featured a King bed and a small bathroom. The mattress was comfortable, the pillows plentiful, the linens of good quality, and most importantly, the room was quiet at night. We enjoyed free internet throughout the hotel, as we are Kimpton "In Touch" members (Kimpton's free rewards program). Our room cost was $281.75 per night ($242 basic cost, plus $37.75 State tax and $2 Seattle Tourism Assessment). Valet parking was a rather expensive $47.59 per night ($39 plus $4.88 parking tax and $3.71 merch tax).
Like all other Kimpton Hotels, there is a complimentary "wine and appy" hour from 5 pm to 6 pm daily in the rather small hotel lobby. The attached TULIO restaurant is good, albeit expensive, and there are several name brand (i.e. "Starbucks") and independent coffee houses within one block of the Hotel Vintage Park.
Overall, the Hotel Vintage Park is a good place to stay when one has to overnight it in downtown Seattle. On a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is terrible and 10 is perfect, I give the Hotel Vintage Park an 8.More
