“Seattle in 5 days”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2013

To experience Seattle in such a short time, one should stay in the heart of the city and be close to Pike Place Market, museums, food, entertainment, shopping, sports events and transportation to everywhere. Hotel Vintage Park has all of those requirements. Perfect location. You can take the train to and from the airport, about $7 per person. The hotel's staff is superb. Small, intimate lobby with afternoon wine tasting. On site, delicious Tulio Restaurant, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Spacious rooms, great beds. Not fancy, but has the warmth of a small hotel with caring, informative staff. Good strong coffee, and free WiFi when you sign up to be a Kimpton InTouch member. Easy. Dog friendly but always fresh and clean. We are pretty picky and this one passed the test with flying colors. Makes the sixth time we have stayed at a Kimpton property. They're so different in each city but the quality of service remains Top Notch.

Green Features: We liked having the toiletries on the wall instead of new little bottles everyday. What a waste. Also, don't mind using the sheets and towels for several days. And you can change if you like. Room temperature was perfect. We appreciate the practices Kimpton promotes. Just like we do.

I am so happy the Vintage Park could be your home away from home while in Seattle : ) Our team loves to create an authentic, personalized visit-- just let us know how we can help you discover the Emerald City in five days (or even one!).

We stayed 3 nights here and had a great experience all around. We were upgraded to a huge room. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Tulio is an amazing restaurant - don't miss it!
Very convenient for everything in downtown Seattle - you can walk everywhere.
We took advantage of the wine reception one evening which included great music ( solo guitar/singer) .

Thank you Louise V--you know you're at a Kimpton when you're close to everything in the city, but the food and wine are too good to want to leave the hotel! Enjoying Washington wines and appetizers from Chef Walter while Nate plays guitar in front of the fire is our favorite way to relax after a busy week--join us again soon!

We stayed one night and we were welcomed from the moment we arrived (they even had our Dog's name written on the welcome board at the front desk. The valet staff was very helpful and patient with our unloading and waited with us while we checked in. The front desk gave lots of great pet-friendly suggestions and even offered to call the various locations for us to confirm we could bring our dog. Our room got upgraded to a deluxe corner King room. It was great and had more than enough space. The location is perfect - close enough to all the major landmarks. Though valet is a tad expensive, it seems to be the going rate in Seattle. And the staff was so friendly and attentive I didn't mind the price. We will be back!

As you can see, we treat our guest's pets like they are human guests! We love them and love that your bring them. We of course deep clean the rooms when guests checkout with pets. It helps that Seattle is very "pet" friendly-great to hear that our employees shared their knowledge with you. In general, Seattle parking is expensive but our garage is secure and we don't charge to go in & out-definitely a perk! Thanks for staying!

We only stayed 1 night at the Vintage Park but what a delight! From the moment we arrived we were greeted and treated above and beyond. The front desk staff was excellent at directing us in the right directions and helpful in discussing travel options for us to get to the ball game.

Our room (2 queen beds) was enough for myself, husband, and 2 teenage kids. When we first got to our floor I was a bit leery as our room was right by the elevator (we are talking right across the hall). Honestly, we didn't hear a thing! Room was very clean too!

We will definitely come back and stay here as its a great location and in walking distance to everything!

Even though we're a boutique hotel, we can accomodate many! Looks like you figured that out on your own. Hopefully, you walked to the game so you could see all this city has to offer. Next time, check out our complimentary wine reception and tasty restaurant, Tulio-your teenagers would even love it!

The staff at the hotel couldn't have been better, very professional. Our room was bright and cheerful. Perfect location to walk to everything. Great job of presenting local Washington wines in the evening. Fantastic restaurant.

Room Tip: We were there for a week, so we were upgraded to a lovely big room.

Thanks Patricia for writing about us. It's nice to hear that our employees are living up to our expectations. We strive to be the best loved in the city! I'm glad you made us your home for the week and took advantage of our wonderful restaurant Tulio as well as our delicious (local) wine hour. We certainly try to support Washington state by serving local wines at wine hour as well as buying local products for our hotel. Thanks for noticing!

Hotel Vintage Park is a great place to stay in Downtown Seattle. It is in walking distance to the harbor, Pikes Market and the monorail to the Space Needle. The accommodations are attractive and comfortable. It is best to get a room facing Spring Street. There is complimentary wine from 5:00- 6:00 pm. The restaurant is excellent! In addition, the staff is extremely helpful, efficient and friendly.

There was a lot to like about this hotel, but I wanted to thank the staff for their help. When my daughter and I needed to change our room - Dawn was extremely ready and willing to find us that next room. Russell, Tommy and others were very helpful as well. I thought the location worked fine for our trips to the Market and elsewhere. The rooms can be small, but oftentimes, that is the problem with Boutique Hotels - but overall it was fine.
I am now a Kimpton InLoyalty Member and enjoy getting the benefits - look forward to staying here and other Kimpton locations.

Paulette, thanks for your response to your stay. I'm glad you noticed our wonderful staff-they try hard and are committed to making our guests as comfortable as possible. Although we are a boutique hotel, we do have larger rooms. Next time when you reserve your room, simply ask for a King Corner or King Premier room instead. Those are bit more spacious than the other room types. Thanks for visiting, see you next time!
