I would certainly go for the harbor view again on any future visit. We really enjoyed relaxing in the chairs on our own little balcony and watching the sun set over the water and mountains. The room was comfortable and well appointed and it was great having our own fireplace too. Being old Beatle fans it was a treat to see the pictures in the lobby of their stay at the Edgewater fishing from their balcony! The Edgewater is right beside the Aquarium and just a short walk to Pike Place Market and if you don't want to walk there is a free shuttle! They have really thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and well cared for at the Edgewater. We have visited many wonderful old hotels from the Waldorf in New York to the Grove Park Inn in Asheville to the Fairmont at Lake Louise but I have never encountered such a friendly and helpful staff as we found at the Edgewater. We did not pass one staff member that failed to speak to us with genuine warmth and welcome - from the front desk clerk to the housekeepers in the hallway. My only complaint was the unexpected and rather expensive parking charge. There is a public parking garage just across the street that we probably would have used if we had known about it. All in all it was a great visit and we would love to stay again.

What a stay. Loved the hotel. Great location. Friendliest staff. Kayla at the front desk was amazing. Got us upgraded to the Beatles suite at an amazing rate, where they actually stayed in 1964. Room has been completely Beatles themed. She also gave us great local recommendations and when she over heard it was my girlfriends birthday last month she got us a free appetizer in the hotel bar. Cannot say enough great things about Kayla and the Edgewater as a whole. Made our NW vacation road trip a smashing success.

This was our first time visiting Seattle. The hotel is just beautiful! We had a room with a fireplace, water view and balcony and it was wonderful! The entire staff at the hotel are amazing! The restaurant was great! excellent service and food! If we ever make it back to Seattle we will definitely be staying at the Edgewater!

Room Tip: Amazing hotel!!

My husband and I just returned from a vacation in Washington. Spent four nights in Seattle at the Edgewater. We had beautiful weather and had booked a waterfront room, so the views were fantastic. Service at the hotel was outstanding! Everyone was genuinely friendly and helpful, front desk, bellmen, maids, etc. As others have mentioned the rooms are smaller in size but more than make up for that fact with the ambience, views and the convenience to popular destinations in downtown Seattle. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of hotel; loved being able to easily walk to everything we wanted to visit. We had dinner the first night at Six Seven which was a perfect way to kick off our vacation. Had the friendliest waiter, incredible views and a delicious meal topped off with tasty cocktails in the lounge. A few minor issues would be: bathroom linens (towels not lush and rather small), bath products (just didn't like the bamboo scent) and the somewhat noisy fan to the climate control in the room. Thought these were not up to par with how great the rest of the hotel amenities were. This is not something that would stop me from staying here again though, and I would definitely recommend the Edgewater to anyone considering a stay in Seattle. Many thanks to the staff for making our trip such an enjoyable and memorable one!

Room Tip: Splurge on a waterfront room, the balcony overlooking the water is definitely worth it.

Loved this hotel for its views of the water from their cozy little sitting room and dining room. Also, they were just a short walk and outdoor elevator ride up to the awesome public market. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are in Seattle.
