Arrived late into the night on a business trip with room booked and paid in advance by company's travel agency. Front desk guy said room is not paid and demanded pre-payment on the spot (like, what?! check the guest in (especially elite member) and figure out your accounting issues in the morning). Had to call CWT and had them talk, lost 30 minutes, got a room key after all, never got an apology or anything. Elevators/common areas are still old and not renovated. Room looked recently renovated, however the first room I was assigned was smoked through. Had to go all the way down and ask for another room. That one was finally ok. No interest on 'how was my stay' by front desk at checkout at all. Just give a key, take your invoice and get out. Thanks, but will book Hyatt next time.

Dear alxgxla,

Thank you for taking the time to share your recent experience at the Sheraton Grand Seattle. I'm disappointed to hear that you did not receive great service upon arrival. A warm welcome often sets the tone for the rest of your stay and it's clear that this did not meet your expectations or our own. Please feel free to reach out to me directly with your reservation details if you would like to discuss in further detail. Lastly, the majority of our common areas were updated during our recent renovation that was completed at the end of last year along with our guest rooms. I'm sorry to hear that you found them outdated and hope that we can use your feedback for future concepts.

Sincerely,
Kyle McIntosh

Great location near Convention Center, but easy walk to piers. Large hotel with all the amenities. Great pool and fitness room with city views. Recently renovated so lobby and common areas were stylish. Decent size room.

Thanks for reviewing your recent stay with us. I'm glad you enjoyed the pool and fitness center on the 35th floor. I love the sweeping views from the treadmills! We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for another great experience.

The only drawback was for the price our view was not so great. The room and bathroom were large and up to date. You won’t be disappointed in the amenities and there is a full service Starbucks in the lobby.

This hotel is located on Pike street just a few blocks from Pike Market Place and close to the LINK station if taking the LINK from the airport. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. Starbucks located in lobby.

We are conveniently located in the center of town and close to all major attractions. The LINK is one of the easiest and most economical ways to get to/from the airport. I'm glad you found it so convenient. Thanks for posting this review!

I visited the property attending a conference at the nearby convention center.
The hotel welcomed the participants with dedicated keys, very nice, indeed.
I choose a room with access to the club and I have to say was a great choice. Besides the view from the club, they served root beer...🥰
The room was quite and well furnished, the bed really comfortable and the bathroom large.
Upon arrival I have been offered the “green choice”, which was, unfortunately, poorly explained. It has been described as no towel, no linen change for three days (acceptable), but it was no housekeeping for three days (too extreme, if I may). However the problem has been promptly solved.
I had a dinner at the grill restaurant on the ground floor, which is nice and confortable, and a drink at the wine bar in the lobby (I enjoyed a good Martini).
The hotel is also conveniently located on Pike street and my wife was able to enjoy shopping and tourism, while I attended the conference.
A good experience and a convenient location for a visit to downtown.

I recommend also to join the loyalty program, for more benefits.
