Very nice, clean and modern Sheraton. The staff was pleasant and worked their way through the long line to check in, with a smile. We flew into SeaTac and took the Light Rail to Westlake Station and just a couple of block walk. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, and easy walk down to Pike Place and the water front. They even had a smart mirror in the bathroom - very cool. The next morning we walked down to the Budget to get our rental car. Again, very easy. We felt safe to walking back and forth to the waterfront, however, there are many homeless people laying in doorways, on the sidewalks etc (all around town). We popped into the Walgreens to get a couple of things and there was a women swearing at the clerk (for no reason). The next morning, walking to get the car, there was another woman yelling and swearing to no particular person, on the sidewalk. This by NO means has anything to do with the Sheraton, just be prepared. We would easily stay here again. It is just too bad that the city allows this.
