Quality Inn & Suites Seattle

This hotel was clean, and the staff friendly. I would say quality was average. Didn't use the pool or exercise rooms. The continental breakfast offered for free was filling, and good tasting. We stayed over the course of a few days, and each day they offered different hot items, and well as make your own waffels. The area where you dine is very busy, given all of the people there. But the staff was very nice in the breakfast cafe area. We stayed on the 4th floor. My 1 complaint about this hotel was the elevaters.. Very few (only 3 of them) and they were very slow. I ended up taking the stairs more than once because of how slow it was. I did not end up using the shuttle service, although did try. It was all booked during when we needed to get out, or I was out too late that it wasn't running at the time. But this hotel is so close, to everything, that us not using the shuttle, didn't even matter. We ended up walking ever where, city center, and pike place market and so forth. The parking price was very resonable (15$ per night) which is very cheap for Seattle down town area. The beds were clean, and pretty comfy. There were some slight marks on the walls, but thats to be expected with people coming in, and out with luggage.

Room Tip: Try booking with priceline! I got a good price.

Before we left for our trip, I was concerned about shuttle services for this hotel. I e-mailed them and the hotel clerk advised that they did have a shuttle service from the airport. All I had to do was call when we arrived at Sea/Tac Int. Airport. My travel agent also called and verified that we would be picked up. On arrival at the airport, we called the hotel and was advised that we had to give them 48 hours notice. Never was this mentioned in both conversations to us and our travel agent. They did not come to get us and to grab a cab. When we arrived at the hotel the clerk I talked to said to give him my travel agents number and he would advise her of their procedure.
Before we left for our cruise I was again informed that they would pick us up at the dock. I called upon arrival at port, was told by this same clerk, to go to flag 4 and to call. This we did, the hotel is ten minutes away. I called three times as no one came to pick us up. Finally I called one more time and got a different clerk. She said shuttle was on the way. 15 minutes later still no pickup. Grabbed a Express Shuttle and while on way to hotel, got a call from hotel driver. He said he just was informed 10 minutes ago. No apology from the desk clerks when we arrived back at the hotel. Not very impressed at all.

Room Tip: Don't go there.

Bad hospitality and I am in the hospitality business! I would go else where. This room as no furniture for clothes and outdated cabinet for tv. Full beds? Really? That's all. Check other options. The only things about this place is that it's my first time in Seattle and I'm going o a cruise anyway is that it was close to the space needle and pikes market!

we booked a handicap room 2 weeks earlier since we had appts. at the UWMC, and saw that this hotel did shuttle to and from the medical center. At first this hotel was a little hard to find but once here we had great reception at the front desk and they were more than willing to help. We reserved our shuttle for the next day and they provided someone to help us with our luggage. Our first room was unattainable so we were moved to the 4th floor to a different room. the room was very clean with a few ammenities. we only had a couple small problems with the room, there was only 1 chair to sit on at the desk. and we could not plug in our laptop where the desk was located, since the outlet was behind the very nice tv cabinet which was very large and heavy. The bed and pillows were comfortable, since this was a medical visit we were in the room more than looking around the city. The hotel extended our check out for 2 extra hours which really made our stress level a lot less. The qcafe was just ok, and closed in the early afternoon.

Room Tip: the front desk is willing to help any way they can.

This hotel is very conveniently located to see the sites near the Space Needle. Our room was VERY small; if you don't like enclosed spaces, you will not like this. But, the room was very clean, very small but clean bathroom and nice bed and sheets. The staff was very accommodating with directions and advice on things to do and places to eat. They had a very nice breakfast although you are stuck in a back room. I would recommend this hotel for the price and location. Also you could park there on site for $15.00 a day which is very reasonable. They allowed us to keep our car there for the early afternoon after we had already checked out.
