“Excellent hotel in great location”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 7, 2012

This was my 2nd stay at the Moore Hotel. The first time I had an older room (with private bathroom) so when I checked into my room this time I was very pleasantly surprised with the renovated room I received.
The location of this hotel is fantastic & you can walk to everything. The coffee shop attached is an added bonus.
I had no problems with the wifi & it did work in my room without any issues.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends/family wanting a good, well-priced budget hotel & will stay here again myself on my next trip to Seattle.

This hotel has been remodeled like crazy. Bathrooms are modernized and spacious. Beds are comfy and clean. The location is wonderful. A block from Pikes Place. A few blocks to the light rail. Perfect if you don't have a car. My only complaint was the lack of water pressure and the fluctuating water temperature, but I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Moore for the first time while in Seattle for the Bumbershoot music festival. Room was clean and inexpensive. Staff at front desk were friendly and accommodating, and you can't beat the parking garage discount (when I checked out after 4 nights, I would have paid $135 for parking-- with the Moore Hotel discount, I only paid $48). The Moore is located in Belltown, which is close to a lot of things like Pike Place Market, the Monorail, ferries, etc. With that said, there can be a bit of a sketchy vibe in the area too. If you're not used to that, this is probably not your hotel. If you are comfortable in an urban setting and can make do with panhandlers, you'll be fine. Also, with it being an older hotel with no air conditioning, you need to keep the windows open during the summertime, which lets in a lot of street noise. Again, if you're not used to that sort of thing, this is probably not the hotel for you. For me and my friends, it was fine. Would totally recommend to others.

For $100, we got 2 queens at a hotel in downtown Seattle. It was basic with a claw foot tub with shower curtain, comfortable beds and a med size tv. No air but the windows swing open and it was cool out. A fan was provided. The staff was friendly and they had a parking garage around the corner for 12 bucks. An older hotel with an actual key to open the door. They offer a great deal here with the location and well maintained rooms. No complaints.

Room Tip: Careful with little kids-the windows swing open very wide.

Great value for money hotel, with loads of character.  Nice and clean with all the basics done well.  Location very near to Pike Place Market and the airport train line is ideal.  Great for a break in Seattle.

Good value nice clean place to say in a genuinely superb location right around the corner from pike market. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms are very basic but clean and decent size, for the money I have no complaints just what we needed for our short budget break. Minimal street noise as our room was up on the 6th floor.

I found this hotel on trip advisor as one of the best deals. To my fellow travelers: you have done well. It's not the ritz but it also wasn't a dump. My tips:
1. Ask for a renovated room (they have private bathrooms)
2. Forget about wifi, I heard from other travelers that they weren't able to receive any, which turned out correct. I believe it has something to do with how old and thick the building is, however the staff did a great job trying to assist me and my wifi needs. (Worst comes to worst, you can just sit in the comfy lobby to enjoy the wifi down there.)
3. Location is GREAT! if you're just a traveler who thinks of a hotel as a place to sleep and drop your bags in a safe place, then this is it. It's within walking distance of superb shopping, Pikes Market, and some of the best resteraunts in town.
4. Take the monorail after arriving on at the airport it's a very easy walk from the station to the Moore
5. The only people I would not advise to visit are big families, or people with wheelchair needs. Although there is an elevator at the Moore, it isn't very big. Families may want connecting rooms or complimentary breakfasts, both of which the Moore does not provide.
