We stayed here for a holiday getaway. Seattle has very few old grand hotels, and this is one of them. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway- it's a bit cheaper than the Fairmont, with a similar excellent location and feel.
Excellent location. It is attached to Westlake Center and the bus/transit tunnel, so you don't even have to go outside to catch the light rail or a tunnel bus.
Free fast wifi
Grand, lovely entrance with bellhops and chandeliers
Firm, comfy beds
Free coffee/coffeemakers in room
Excellent martini bar (Oliver's) attached to lobby, with free happy hour snacks each day at 4:30p
Romantic and classic
The saddest, most pathetic fitness center I've ever seen for a hotel of this caliber
It could be due for another facelift- it's looking a little fadedMore
