Mayflower Park Hotel

Whenever we are in Seattle we stay at the Mayflower Park. We absolutely love the ambience, the food in Andulucas and the friendly staff. Rae is the best cocktail waitress and Steve the best bar tender in Oliver's--they are so friendly and take care of your every need. The whole group have become like family. The location is terrific--right in the middle of all of the shopping opportunities. And it is an easy walk to Pike's Market or the Seahawks stadium. As I said in the title we would think of staying nowhere else.

I've styled at the Mayflower Park about ten times, and it is a beautiful, historic hotel with the nicest employees. HOWEVER......their beds (mattresses) are the worst I've slept on. They are old and creaky, and bounce every time you or your partner move the slightest bit. The one from last weekend's trip had a dip in the middle that was impossible to stay out of. If its location wasn't so perfect for shopping, I would never choose to stay there.

Kim S,

I'm very sorry to read you had an uncomfortable stay. We continuously replace our mattresses and often get comments on how comfortable our beds are. No matter how diligent we are, sometimes a room can slip by us. We would love to have the opportunity to fix the particular room you stayed in, would you be so kind as to email the room number to me (David@MayflowerPark.com)?

If you choose to stay with us again, please contact the front desk anytime you have a concern with your room and we will do everything in our power to make sure you are absolutely satisfied and comfortable.

Sincerely,
David Bennett
Front Office Manager

You could not find a better hotel in downtown seattle, not only for the location which is perfect but also for the gentility of the place. It`s a dignified Old World style hotel in a world that has become all too hectic and unkempt. Staying here is a total treat. The bar, Olivers, is also five-star as is the restaurant, Andelucca.

Room Tip: never had a bad room in this hotel! ASk for a double with two bathrooms in it!!

I must admit, I'm only good about writing reviews after favorable experiences. But the Mayflower Park Hotel is a real gem and deserves a few words. The location is spectacular, three and a half blocks from the Pike Place Market and right at the foot of Capitol Hill where all the trendy bars and restaurants are. The rooms are small (see boutique) and not very well lit, but comfortable and welcoming and for the price this is an absolute steal. The staff were all super warm and helpful and the bar downstairs, according to two old-school 'Seattlites' pours the very best martinis in town. And take my word for it, these two know martinis.

We'll be going back for sure.

The hotel speaks for itself, and you couldn't hope for a better location. Direct out of the weather access to the Metro Tunnel for light rail to the airport & the Monorail, and an easy stroll to Pike Place Market!

All that said, it's the staff that made our stay so special. Dave R. made our check in seamless, housekeeping, bellmen and restaurant staff all added personal touches to make our 3 night stay a memory of a lifetime. Thanks all!

You can't go wrong here!

We had a wonderful one night stay here at the Mayflower. Every single person we encountered was helpful and pleasant. The room was comfortable and clean and quiet for being right downtown. The location couldn't be better, with the short walk to Pike Place Market and Westlake. Also lots of great eating within short walking distance. We are looking forward to coming and staying downtown with you again!!

The Mayflower Park is a lovely old hotel. Our room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Luxurious sheets. Wallpaper, art work, and furnishings were very nice. It was a very cold weekend, so I really appreciated that we could go directly into Westlake Center from the hotel without having to go outside. The hotel is a short walk to the Paramount. Hotel parking is expensive!
