This heritage building really delivers. Rooms are very comfortable, tastyfully decorated and intimate. The lobby lends are aura of grandeur with its magnificent centrally located flower arrangement!

It is centrally located to Seattle's best shopping. Macy's is across the street (the old Bon Marche building), and Westlake Centre at the end of the block. Walk to Pike Public Market.

Definitely have a cocktail at Oliver's, the lobby bar. Best martini in town!

I stayed here with my wife for the first three nights of our holiday in the Pacific North West. The location was brilliant, a five minute walk from the Westlake Light Rail stop which meant we could get directly from the airport to our hotel easily, and cheaply! It also meant we were able to get out and about on public transport so no worries about getting around. Getting to and from the baseball in particular was really easy.
We only ate breakfast in the hotel. The food was great and we enjoyed talking to our servers who were very friendly and happy to pass on any tips while we visited Seattle.
The room was adequate, the shower room was small, but all that we needed for our stay. Our window faced internally and we seemed to be several floors above noisy ventilation which meant we couldn't open the window - this could be a problem if it was warmer.

Room Tip: Ask for a room further away from the ventilation fans if you like to open a window in the room

We stayed in a two room suite the weekend before Christmas. It is the perfect setup for a family of 4 or less looking to explore / exploit downtown Seattle during the holidays. The suite had two queens in the bedroom and a door separating it from the living / TV room. Most importantly, there are two full bathrooms to keep everyone happy. It is absolutely worth the extra $50 or so to have these conveniences.

The Mayflower, as others have mentioned, could not be more conveniently located. It is across the street from Macy's, a block from Nordstrom's, Sephora, etc., and has its own entrance to Westgate Center and access to the Monorail to Seattle Center. Pike Place Market is a short (4 block) stroll away, to our favorite pastry / espresso spot, Le Panier (go early or face the consequences). Benaroya, Jazz Alley and even the stadiums are within comfortable walking distance.

For us, The Mayflower is akin to a comfortable pair of leather gloves or walking shoes; we just can't let them go. The service is friendly, efficient and unhurried, from the door persons, to the front desk personnel to the wait staff / bartenders in our favorite Seattle bar / lounge, Oliver's, to the excellent concierge service.

I spent approximately a half hour with the concierge discussing everything current in Seattle, which of course included a large dollop of Seahawks.

There are fancier, more chic, newer hotels sprinkled all over Seattle, and we have spent time in several of them, but The Mayflower is #1 for us.

We traveled to Seattle from Oregon to view the King Tut exhibit that was on display at the Pacific Science Center near the Space Needle. We found that the Mayflower Park Hotel was offering a visitors' package that included valet parking and VIP, i.e., no waiting in line, tickets to the exhibit. This was our first visit to this hotel.

Upon arrival at the hotel we were able to have the car safely stowed away and were able to reach everywhere on foot or the monorail which was just around the corner.

An internet search for best places for cocktails and dinner in Seattle returned many suggestions including the Mayflower Park itself which is what we chose. The Oliver is just the kind of old hotel cocktail bar that we were hoping to find.

Service was excellent and the concierge staff were particularly helpful.

We expect that this will be our Seattle hotel for future visits.

Room Tip: This was our first visit so we can not compare room locations. This hotel is in an urban setting an...

My wife & I spent a wonderful night at the Mayflower Part Hotel this past weekend. This was our second year in a row for treating ourselves to a special "night-out-on-the-town" date in Seattle (just across Puget Sound from our home). After our experience this past weekend, we're thinking this could become a yearly tradition.

Our room was lovely- nicely appointed & plenty spacious for the two of us. We booked online & got a very reasonable price. Valet parking is a bit pricey, but we took advantage of dropping off our luggage on a Saturday afternoon, checking out on Sunday morning, then coming back to get our luggage & car late on Sunday afternoon after exploring the Public Market & waterfront.

Great location for all things to do & see in downtown Seattle & environs. Family-owned hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Nice attached restaurant & bar, and a Starbucks down the street. Everything you need & could ask for!

We just returned from a night's stay at this hotel. Have stayed there a few times in the past. The bar Olivers is outstanding. The staff are great as well. The room was nice except our one complaint was with the towels in the bathroom. Very small, thin and old (cannot even read the label attached any longer). A bit disappointing when a nice plush towel after a bath/shower should be expected for this hotel.
