“Great!”
Reviewed June 30, 2011

Really enjoyed our stay here. Every encounter with staff, whether it be on the elevator, or just walking through the lobby, were kind, gracious and friendly. Housekeeping was excellent. Room was comfortable. Highlight of the trip was Ashley at Oliver's; she was simply amazing.

I picked this hotel sight unseen from the Seattle Rock & Roll Marathon website hoping it would be "okay." It was wonderful! I booked our traveling friends there also and they were so impressed by my choice. I cannot name one reason not to stay there. It is close to everything downtown. It is immaculately clean and beautiful. Everyone, from the bellmen to the front desk to housekeeping could not have been nicer. We will definitely book again. Thank you to everyone who made our stay perfect!

We stayed at the Mayflower prior to an Alaskan Cruise. Every aspect of our stay there was wonderful. We took advantage of their great pre-cruise package which included a wonderful full breakfast and transportation to the pier. Our room was lovely, clean, comfortable and well appointed.
The concierge and front desk staff were cheerful and helped with everything from dinner reservations to replacing a lost certificate for a discounted dinner in their (not to be missed) dining room.
I would love to return for a longer stay at this lovely hotel, and more in-depth visit to this charming city .

This was our first trip to Seattle and the Mayflower Hotel was the perfect place for us to stay. As noted by other reviewers, the location is a serious plus - walk to Pike Market and the waterfront and next door to all transportation (light rail, buses, and streetcar). The staff is friendly and professional - very hotel employee greeted or spoke with us - and assisted with restaurant recommendations and directions. Be sure to have drinks and appetizers at Olivers (Hotel bar). Our room (10th floor corner) was very clean, quiet, and well appointed. Housekeeping personnel noted when we left the room and serviced it immediately so that when we returned it was cleaned and ready for us. The bellcaps even helped my husband map out a route for his morning runs. This is a great hotel for your Seattle vacation.

Room Tip: Floors 10-12 corner rooms have best views of city

It was recommended that I stay here by a business associate, and now I know why. The Mayflower Park Hotel is not highly publicized, but just what you want when staying in an urban setting. Central downtown location within a few blocks of the market, at the end of The Link, Seattle's light rail that you can take directly to/from the airport, cozy hotel bar (Oliver's) where you can watch passersby wrestle with their umbrellas and fight off the weather, and a good restaurant where you can grab some breakfast. The rooms are traditional, and a bit on the smaller side because it is an older hotel. Service has always been great, and the rates are reasonable.

Front desk was very friendly even though I arrived after midnight. Accommodations were comfortable and clean. I would stay here again the next time I go to Seattle.
