We booked the MarQueen because it was reasonably priced but were surprised to have had such a wonderful experience. The staff was wonderful, the room was large, wonderful, and accommodating, and it's within walking distance of just about everything. The only downside was the mandatory valet parking at an extra cost but I would definitely stay again

This is a beautiful space with roomy rooms oozing with historic charm. The king suite included a quaint little living room area, a breakfast nook, and a kitchen area that included the original ice box closet. Nicely located and a real treat! The only negative comment I would make, is that I am a bath-taker, and the surface of the tub was chipped in several places; the rest of the experience was amazing!

Very much unlike any chain hotel you've ever stayed at. The MarQueen has converted a three-story apartment building in walking distance to the space needle into hotel rooms. The upside was an enormous room with a separate sitting room and a full kitchen. The kitchen has microwave, gas range, full-size fridge, lots of cabinets, and place settings for four--making it a great option for a longer stay. The Safeway is two blocks away. Be warned, there is no elevator. Despite new furnishings the woodwork etc. is a little tired. Great location and value.

Caught in a time warp, the MarQueen offers space at a very reasonable price. Overnight parking is secure and less than one would pay downtown. Our room had a kitchenette with table, internet access and was spacious. No elevator, so be prepared. The hotel is within walking distance of most downtown attractions and the staff is helpful.

We stayed for just one night, but we would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was polite, sweet and very helpful and the rooms was clean and pretty. They even had folded the towels in nice flower-like shapes! The hotel has an old english-kind og style and is one of the best hotels we stayed at in all of our trip from seattle WA to Poplar MT.

This is a beautiful historic hotel and it's a great value for your money, especially if you're staying for a few days. The rooms are huge with hardwood floors and full kitchens! The kitchens are fully stocked with dishes and there's a full size fridge. Our room also had a cute sitting room with some antique furniture. the only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because the bathroom was lacking. It was very small and the tub had a lot of chips in it. The bathroom was also kind of yellowish and not very well lit and the room could use a new TV. The grand staircase in the hotel was beautiful and the staff was very nice. The lounge attached to the hotel is also very nice and they have a good happy hour deals! We would stay here again.

We decided to stay based on a Groupon. I am very glad that we did. As the hotel is in a building that has about 100 years history to it, the rooms are big but basic. The staff are awsome. Everyone was wonderful and friendly. You had a question, they had an answer. We were able to walk every where we wanted to go. Close to the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Seattle Underground.
We were very pleased with our stay and would consider staying there again.
