Pros:
Location
View

Cons:
Poor Service
VIP Lounge has mediocre offerings
Small Lobby
Rooms are very basic, even on the executive levels

Other thoughts: Received an upgrade for my IHG Gold Ambassador status, room had a view of freeway and construction. Was not an upgrade. Had to exchange key because did not grant access to VIP lounge. Was not informed of hours for breakfast or location of lounge on arrival. Very rushed and clearly mistakes were made.

Overall, not a terrible experience, not sure if I would return as there are lots of hotels in the area.

Room tip: Ask for a view room otherwise you will be staring out onto the freeway

We stayed for two nights on our way up to a wedding in Snohomish. Very comfortable room, large, nice bathroom, great shower. We stayed at another IHG property, Holiday Inn in Downtown Everett and the quality of bed, bath, room size was far superior here. Wish parking was a bit more reasonable, but it seems to be high everywhere in the city. All of the staff, including the valet staff, concierge, housekeeping, and front desk were top notch and super friendly!

Room tip: We were on the freeway side and we did hear it, but it was not terrible.

Dear Michael S,
Thank you for writing a review about your recent experience at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. I am delighted you found the room comfortable and the staff top notch and super friendly. Due to limited parking in the downtown Seattle corridor, parking can be expensive. We appreciate your business and hope to serve you again.
Warm Regards,

We stayed here for a weekend in July, and everything was very nice. The bed was comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The fitness center was usable. The staff members were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious (we had a suite.) The room was also quiet--we heard very little hallway noise. I was a bit hesitant to stay here, given some of the less-than-stellar reviews, but overall, I thought it was a good place to stay for a Seattle weekend. No hotel is perfect, of course, and the elevators could be faster and more synchronized, and the linen quality could be better, but they're not trying to compete with the city's five star hotels. This is a solid 3.5-4 star hotel, and they occupy that tier well. Overall, I'd stay here again.

Dear AEKBS,
Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback about your stay at the hotel. It was great to read you found the room quiet, water pressure good and staff members friendly and helpful. There are times we experience high volumes of guest using the elevators during peak times which can slow service down and we regret any inconvenience this caused during your stay. Thank you again for your comments and we look forward to serving you again in the future.
Sincerely,

Second time I am staying at the hotel and both time fantastic. This time we had the suite and the sofa bed is the best in town, very compfortable and solid. They service was excellent, and we got extra toiletries and also asked many times if we needed more so very nice service. The staff are excellent, and even very relaxed about our minor mishap (glass bottle dropped at reception). But what tops it all is the view into Seattle from the top floors, so dont be afraid to ask, as the hotel is really well placed.

Room tip: As for a high floor and Seattle facing room :)

My two friends and I spent a couple of days in Seattle before heading to Canada. I found the Crowne Plaza through Trip Advisor, and it had many great reviews. I must say I was very pleased with this hotel. We arrived early, so our room wasn't ready. We checked our luggage and the lady at the front desk gave us a map with some restaurant options. The location of the hotel was great! We were only a few blocks away from Pike Place Market. Definitely within walking distance. We never had to call a cab or Uber. You can easily walk anywhere from this location. The hotel itself was very nice. We were on the 31st floor, so we have great views of the city. We were able to see the Space Needle from the room. We were in a suite which was a little small, but we made it work. Being on suite level definitely had its perks. We enjoyed a wonderful, hot buffet breakfast, a happy hour that provided complimentary appetizers (fried shrimp, calamari, falafels, fruit/veggies, etc). We also received complimentary bottled waters and turn down service. The hotel also had a decent happy hour everyday. This is a great hotel that wasn't super expensive. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Seattle. The only reason I gave them a 4 star rating and not a 5 is because there was an error on the bill when checking out. My friends and I had split the bill, but I ended up having the full charge on my card. Other than that little misstep, the Crowne Plaza is a great hotel!
