The Inn remains one of our favorite places to stay in Seattle. The location is perfect for roaming the market and just being a foodie. The staff is attentive, and the rooftop perfect to share a bottle of wine, laughter, and watching the sunset.
Very much worth the price!

Room Tip: Spring for a bay view if you can!

We stayed 4 nights here, 2 nights either side of a trip to the Olympic National Park. Our first 2 nights were in a street view room which was extremely comfortable and well appointed. Great bathroom and no noise from the street. The 5th floor rooftop terrace is available to everyone and is absolutely wonderful as it overlooks Puget Sound and Pike Place Market. We returned for the last 2 nights when we had booked a water view room and found that we had been upgraded to a water view suite. This was a fantastic room with a sitting room, kitchenette and its own private roof terrace. Thank you for that. Both rooms were equally well appointed and had supremely comfortable beds and lovely soft linen. Room service for breakfast was disappointing, primarily because it comes from an independent coffee shop next door - which oddly enough served a delicious breakfast when we went there but just didn't get the delivery side right. Again, management reacted immediately to this problem and refunded half our breakfast charge. The doormen were extremely polite and attentive, the front desk friendly and responsive. This is an incredibly well run hotel which we recommend unreservedly.

Room Tip: If budgeting, get the street view and use the 5th floor terrace. If money is no object, definitely...

If you are a tourist, this is the place. It has easy access to the light rail and to the bus system. The staff are very attentive to your needs. They saw me walk in the door with a bouquet of flowers from the market and asked if I would like a vase. They sent up a couple to the room for me to choose from. They have umbrellas in your room and at the door. The bellman remembered our names. They have a roof top sitting area and a computer/business center.
The only bad thing is one day the cleaning lady forgot to clean our room. We had to call and ask her to be sent. She had talked to us that morning and said she was going to clean our room when we left. I honestly think she did forget.
We just walked across the street to the market and had so many restaurants to choose from.
We really enjoyed our experience here and so glad we chose this hotel.

Room Tip: We took a city side room and loved looking down on 1st street.

This is a very nice place to stay in downtown Seattle. Small hotel with very nice rooms. A little pricey but it located steps from Pike Place Market. Very nice deck on the 5th floor that overlooks the sound. Service is very good. Excellent valet and front desk service.

We stayed 2 nights here recently and would highly recommend it to anyone searching for a great location in the heart of Seattle. We stayed on the 5th floor in a partial water view room and had very convenient access to the rooftop patio - a true hidden gem. It was so relaxing to sit out there in the late afternoon / evening after a long day of sightseeing. We loved being literally steps away from Pikes Market, the original Starbucks, great restaurants, shopping and all the sights. We would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Face Pike's Market and the Puget Sound!

We had a wonderful time at the Inn at the Market over our 4 day stay. This hotel is in a fabulous location. Just steps from the market. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see/do. 20 minute walk to Space Needle and 25 minutes to Century Link Field. Only a few blocks to great shopping. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Room service was fast and delicious. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Room Tip: Try to get a water view room. View is incredible.

Dear Guest:
Thank you for your writing into Tripadvisor and sharing a bit about your trip. One can also take the monorail from Westlake Center to the Space Needle and if going to Quest Field the light rail if you are not walking. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

If you want to be in the heart of the action around Pikes Place Market and live stylishly, this is the place to be.

Located in it's own courtyard, with shops and salons, it has a discreet lobby.

My room was gorgeous with a great view over the market and into the sound.

The bed, pillows, shower and toiletries were excellent. The towels were okay.

There was a fridge, luggage rack and iPod dock. However, no in-room coffee or microwave.

Breakfast was not included, internet was.

I had a lovely time here for two nights and the location meant I could walk to most attractions and stores.

I highly recommend this hotel when in Seattle.

Room Tip: Room 704 was good.
