First-time visit to Seattle in mid-December. Wanted a location within walking distance of lots of amenities. The Inn fitted the bill perfectly. Lovely 8th floor room with beautiful water view. Friendly staff. Comfy king bed with great bedding. Nice clean room, but they really could use a makeover. For the rates charged, we expected something a little more upscale. Arms of chairs were worn. Very drafty around windows, making it uncomfortable to sit at the table and enjoy the view or watch TV. Huge bathroom; a jacuzzi tub with separate shower would have been great. Overall, an enjoyable stay with a good night's sleep.

My husband and I live in Tacoma, but we love Inn at the Market and come here as often as we can. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Seattle. Every detail is perfect. We have stayed in many different rooms including the less expensive city view, right up to suites. I'm not a person of superlatives, but I cannot think of one criticism. We love Inn at the Market!

Stayed here twice in December, can now never return to Seattle and stay anywhere but Inn at the Market. Great location, staff very helpful and friendly. Lovely clean well maintained rooms, such comfortable beds that you really don't want to get up in the morning.

Dear Sarah:
Thank you for selecting the Inn at The Market as your hotel of choice this month, our HYPNOs beds are warranted by the Queen of England, I am glad you found them comfortable. When you do plan on returning please contact me at dwatkins@innatthemarket.com and I will be happy to assist with arrangements here in Seattle.

My cousin and I went to Seattle to attend the King Tut attraction and stayed at this hotel. I had looked at the pictures from other travellers before booking but must say that their pics didn't do the room justice. It was a corner unit (#402) and very comfortable with the Hypnos mattresses and two sets of window/doors which opened so lots of fresh air was available. There was a small round table with a comfortable chair on two sides. The TV could only be watched from the bed but this was not a problem at all. The two small complaints were the water closet was noisy when flushed and the room had a "freshener" odour that was quite strong. We would have preferred to have been high enough to look out over the roof top deck instead of the other part of the hotel but the other set of windows gave a nice view of the streets. The valet parking attendants were phenomenal and unloaded our luggage and whisked our car away and also returned it quickly when requested. The location is right in the heart of Pike Market with the Markets big red sign on the roof easily viewed from our room. The restaurants and shops were within walking distance but a lot of them closed early. The roof top deck is large with lots of seating and with an expansive view of the bay and Market etc. It was raining while we were up there but still took pics and must be awesome in nice weather. Entry into the hotel is through a small charming courtyard that was lit up for the Christmas season. One night we had dinner in the restaurant underneath the hotel and both meals were excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel and the restaurant.

Room Tip: Request rooms that have a bay view as part of the hotel is blocked by another part of the hotel on the opposite side of the courtyard.

Dear Guest:
Thank you for visit Seattle and staying with us in the Market and sharing your trip on trip advisor. The Market and Downtown are very festive this time of the year and there is still time to view the King Tut Exhibit, we do sell the VIP tickets at our Front Desk. We will look forward to welcoming you back in the new year.
Best

My husband and I love Inn at the Market. We stay one night every year right before Christmas to rejuvenate and relax before the holiday madness. We always feel refreshed and spoiled. You are 50 feet from Pike Place Market and several excellent restaurants and bars. The rooms are spacious and clean and the beds are really comfortable. You get a lot of luxury, right downtown, for a reasonable price.
