“Customer service isn't there”
Reviewed November 9, 2009

My wife and I stayed at the Warwick Seattle the night of November 7th. The rooms are pretty nice, but the walls are not good for sound proofing. In the room next door, the guests there had 3 LOUD quarrels that kept us up. Apparently, the police were called and at 4:15AM they finally quieted. While the hotel is not to blame for their quarrel, they should at least have tried to make it up to the guests that were inconvenienced. Thinking that they would at least apologize was my thought, but no such luck. When i brought it up to the desk clerk at check out, she merely agreed that it was loud and sent us on our way. Terrible customer service! I will never use a Warwick again.

I found some questionable stains on a pillowcase, so I left the case on the floor. Instead of changing it, they put it back on the pillow and left it in bed. Yuck.

We were first time visitors to Seattle and spent 3 nights at the Warwick Hotel. Sight unseen, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay! We'd recommend it without hesitation. The location was great. The rooms were clean and roomy. The view of the Space Needle and city was nice. (Note that the 'balcony' is only wide enough to stand on. You won't be sitting in a patio chair with your cup of coffee or glass of wine!) The early morning traffic does create some noise, so bring ear plugs. The concierge was very helpful and the staff was welcoming. It was a pleasant experience staying at the Warwick Hotel.

This hotel is in a great loaction and in walking distance to everything. Even walked from Safeco to the Hotel...took a little while but it was a nice walk to see the city. The rooms are clean and quite roomy. Freindly staff and great views of the city. Starbucks minutes away and a grocery store across the street. Only thing id have to complain about is the price of parking...27 dollars for the night. But I would stay there again over any other hotel and would recommend it to others.

The staff was terrific, The bed was wonderful. The room was impeccable. The concierge desk was most helpful. The rate was a bargain. We had a reasonable walk to most downtown attractions (market, dining, vistas, access).

What more can one ask for first-time visitors to Seattle on an anniversary trip?

I admit that I panicked when I saw the lobby. It definitely needs massive re-modeling of all public areas and some new outfits for the staff wouldn’t hurt (one of them had a torn jacket).

But – the room was great – lots of space and very comfortable (just the bath was way too simple – if the shower head was new and could have some options for massage it would have been great). We got a newspaper to our room and the location is awesome – the Airporter stops right there and it’s within a walking distance from everything. The staff was supper nice especially the concierges (Joe and Isaiah, if I got the names right) who had good recommendations.

We picked the Warwick due to it's location on the Grayline airport schedule and the hotel price. Once there I was overwhelmed by the level of service. We checked in early so the room wasn't ready. I expected that. It was very early. The gentlemen that stored our luggage was vey helpful. He asked if we had plans for the day, then proceded to supply us with maps and other literature. He became our personal ambassador to his city. We found a similar level of helpfullness from all personel we interacted with. It was a wonderful treat to stumble into such great service when we picked the hotel based on location and price.
One note about the Grayline. We picked the Warwick because it is he last pick up on the route back to the airport. This turned out to be a problem. 2 or 3 busses filled up before they reached us and went on to the airport. Had I not already purchased Grayline I would have taken a cab. Warwick employees called Grayline to find out what the problem was. Not many hotels would do that for you!
