First of all, when you're in a serious tourist area and a restaurant is perfectly situated for the tourists, then keep it simple. Some kind of major meal is sure to be a disappointment. After all, there is a never-ending flow of customers and probably all for the first and last time. Second, we had a great experience but ordered a simple crepe with strawberry jam, and a side of whipped cream, and two bottles of water. The cheerful and efficient waitress (she had personality - really) made this visit just a lot of fun. She even asked if we wanted ice with our water, and how often does that happen? But I can understand how this busy, touristy place may not deliver the goods some time. In summary, order something that can't be screwed up too much and enjoy the view.
