We were nervous as there were 4 big cruise ships in town, but this cafe wasn't crowded. The food was amazing, and we had a table in the garden where we could soak up the sun!

We enjoyed a range of their fresh fish dishes (salmon and halibut) with considerable delight. A great meal experience in every respect--taste, presentation, atmosphere, service and a lovely view to boot.

We had heard a lot of good things about the Stowaway from Trip Advisor, so we really wanted to try it when our ship docked in Skagway, and we were certainly not disappointed! One of the great things about this place, is that it is right on the dock where the ships stop! After a day of riding up to the White Pass and riding the Yukon Railway....another recommended attraction, by the way!....and strolling through the quaint little town of Skagway, we had worked up a good appetite. You will love the atmosphere and view of the bay from this restaurant, and the service is awesome! I had the Bounty of the Sea, a very delicious halibut dish, and my fiancee had the Wasabi Salmon.....would highly recommend both! Very adequate wine list, my fiancee enjoyed a glass of Woop-Woop. I believe that they also have awesome desserts, but we were filled after our salads and entrees, so I can't tell you about those. If we are ever back in Skagway, I guarantee you that we will be sure to stop at the Stowaway again!

We spent three nights in Skagway and chose to eat two of them at this delightful place. The food is always good and so is the service. We returned the first night because we had been here in 2006 and had enjoyed it then too! We ate salmon both evenings and the first night was especially excellent beginning with a Caesar Salad followed by Wasabi salmon dinner with a teriyaki sauce/glaze with rice and a nice variety of baked vegetables: carrots, red peppers, mushrooms. Yummy!
