We had a half day tour going to Gold Rush Cemetery and hearing about the local history of Soapy Smith, the beautiful Reid Falls, and Klondike Dredge Tours where we played with the sled dog puppies, heard an Iditarod trainer speak, experienced 40 below temps, panned for gold, tasted their microbrewed beer and root beer, and had lunch. It was a jam packed day of fun. As a homeschooling family, we had our 6 kids with us and were delighted with all the information that Becky shared with us--every day is a chance for learning! We especially were intrigued by the "bubble netting" by the whales. Before we even left the pier, we saw a whale that she heard was in the harbor and a seal. The best part was that she totally tailored the tour to us and kind of rolled with what we wanted to do. Thank you Becky! We hope to see you again!
