We stayed in this hotel for one night in January 2012 en-route to Venice. The hotel is in an excellent location just a few minutes walk from St Louis station but they do not accomodate for the English speaking guests (from experience the majority of people can speak/understand English) there must have been over 80 tv channels but not a single one in English, i know that you do not stay in hotels to watch tv but at the end of a long day travelling etc its a nice way to relax. There was a guide book and information booklet about the hotel but this was written in French and German only! We had a room not far from reception but it was also next door to a family with a very badly behaved child, screaming late at night and then early in the morning it did not help that the walls were paper thin. Good points-The bathroom was nice with plenty of hot water and a powerful shower. The continental breakfast was good with plenty of choice- croissants, cheese, ham, yoghurts, fruit etc Fast free wi-fi (code given at reception) Bad- curtains did not close fully (the hotel is at pavement level) big sign and watchful receptionist stating no food/eating allowed in rooms (big hand bag is recommended as a grocery shop is nearby :) )and the plug sockets do not work with the 'normal' EU plug adaptors so i couldnt charge my mobile phone or use my hair straightners!!
