We spent a few nights in Alsace at the end of September and stayed at the Val-Vignes. The location is so beautiful, amongst the vineyards, with a quaint village, ringing church bells and you can see the Haut-Koenigsburg castle from the location too! While the rooms were comfortable with all the needed amenities, it was quite warm in the rooms, but easily resolved as the windows opened. The only downside is that they were quite short staffed - the reception clerk doubles as the bar server and in the morning, there was only one server managing breakfast. Breakfast was limited with many items running out and not replenished so get there early! But if it’s location you are interested in, this place is perfect and beautiful!
