This is a great place. We went with a party of nine on a Sunday night to celebrate a birthday. Casual dress is fine, service is very attentive and the menu selection covered all wants. My Brick cooked duck breast was done to perfection. Everyone said their choices were perfect.

We stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday night during a drive from Florida to Nebraska, and on balance, would not return. It was OK, we suppose, but did not deliver value for price. Specifics: They do not serve bread with dinner. But you don't find that out until entrees are served, and the only bread available is an extra charge off the appetizer menu. Once ordered, it takes long enough to make that you've nearly finished the entrees by the time it comes. No side items are listed on the menu, yet the entrees include two. So, be prepared for a "please repeat that list" moment as you are ordering, as you'll have no time to consider the sides you want ahead of time. A note to whomever chooses produce for this restaurant - when available tomatoes are as raw and flavorless as the ones you served us, just don't buy them! It's not like they're on the menu and HAVE to be available.

On the plus side, the trout and wasabi mashed potatoes were excellent. The crab cakes were flavorful enough, but the ratio of crab to cake was about only about 40/60, and our index of a "good" seafood restaurant is where there is more crab than cake in the crab cakes.

It's easy to see that when this restaurant opened, the atmosphere must have been outstanding. But, over time, it's now showing its age. One can see a partially open kitchen and service area from the tables, and frankly, it looks a bit dirty. Ceiling tiles are out of place and dingy looking. Supplies are stacked haphazardly on open metal shelving. The floor in the service area was dirty. This, in contrast to the dining room, which was impeccably clean.

Service was average. Efficient and friendly enough at the table, but much rushing around and earnest talking. Everything seemed to be an emergency.

Bottom line? The experience was average. But the check was not. Net, not enough value for money to merit a return visit.

This restaurant is on the end of a strip center, but don't let the outside & location fool you. Inside looks good, white table cloths & well dressed servers & all. We were a party of 4, & did make reservations even on a Tuesday night. The place was not full, but most tables were occupied, some w/large parties. A very good, friendly, but professional server who knew the menu. We all had drinks which were very good. The fried green tomato appetizer was also very good. The four us each had something different, but all very good & presented very well on the plate. My husband & his cousin shared a desert, he fried banana split which they raved about. The bill was high, so don't go expecting a bargain, but the food was worth it.

Reservations for Eight. I told the staff, this was a important night, best friends including my accountant. We were given a private room, no extra charge. Music was live and very good. Food was freshly cooked and on time. Everything was top notch. Thank you. I give these folks a A+
