We got here around 5:30pm but by the time we left at 8:30, the place was packed. The scenery is nice, martini's great and food was good.

“Great Menu and Food - Awful Experience Overall”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 26, 2012

I spoke to the manager on duty about my complaints and hardly received an "I am sorry" which almost follows the indifferent service during the course of the meal. What is sad is the food is great and it is diminished by poor overall service.

First, our server Laani was great. She did everything she could under the overall circumstances. She is only following the rules set forth by the managers/owners and she can only do as much as the rest of the wait staff helps or ignores the needs of diners.

Party of six, there for a 57th wedding anniversary dinner.

One item, ribs was not available. OK, find a substitute, but really, run out of an entree ?
Common vegetable as part of each entree was not available. If you substituted for the item they didn't have, they charge extra for substituting ? Really, you made me pay extra for your running out of vegetables ?

Four of us ordered soup. Three arrived, and we politely waited for the fourth to arrive, and we waited, and we waited, and we had noticed no spoons provided and we asked and we asked and we asked......and we waited, and we asked again. Then finally, after several minutes and the first two people never returned with spoons, the third person arrived with soup spoons.

How do you serve soup and not provide spoons ?

How do you serve soup without spoons, are asked for spoons, and then don't go get them ?

As I told the manager, if you are going to put yourself out there as a premium location, you need to execute at a premum level, not a half hearted level.

So, regardless of above. The food was ample portions, great tasting, and missing items noted, worth the visit. Just realize you might have to pay attention to some details because they are not.

“Not blown away...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2012

Went there for my birthday with a group of 8. The regular servers were great; however, the manager was very rude. Someone in my group informed her that they had given him expired beer and asked if she had any that wasn't expired. She got a major attitude and told him probably not. Sorry - we didn't feel like paying $4 for expired beer.
The restaurant itself was nice inside, but the food was nothing to write home about. My mashed potatoes tasted like instant mashed potatoes. The steak wasn't very good either. The drinks were pretty good when they weren't expired... I would come back for appetizers and drinks....maybe.

“Good food but pricey for the atmosphere”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2012

The tables are hard wood and hard wood chairs; not comfortable and cold. The restaurant is more of burger and beer but the entres are not and the prices are high for the style of the inside.
The fella that served our nitrogen martini was a real dud.

If you saw a plane land or take off that would be kinda fun but no action while we were there.

Probably will not return.
