Stayed here for a three days conference. It is indeed a conference place with focus and plenty of places for socialization.

The rooms are small and seems to be totally newly renovated and are very nice decorated. However, as the other Comwell hotels, there is just a few TV-channels and totally ridiculous opportunities to use internet. One hour free by the TV and if you want to connect otherwise you have to go to the front desk. It is rather strange that they promote their own Spa Line for shampoo and so on, but in the room there is re-fill dispenses with another products.

Restaurant has friendly service, but the quality of food is varied. One night it was excellent, but the second night it was only so so... Conference break and food/beverage for this was very innovative and above standard.

There is a pool and a room (that needs more attention) with dart, billiard etc. I'm pretty sure I would go back for a conference but mayby not for a romantic break. I think however, it is an excellent place to stay on your way between Denmark and Germany (if you go over Jutland).

The service at the hotel is very good and helpful. The rooms are of average quality, and lack wireless internet access.

Very big differences in rooms. One room had lots of bugs (dead though) and cob webs. Not nice. Room also smelled mouldy and stuffy. Another room was much better; clean and a much better odor.

The hotel is being renovated (no noise so far) so rooms are slowly improving. The new rooms look vere nice acutally - updated décor.

Breakfast is really nice; breads, lunch meat, cereals, eggs + bacon, juice, milk + coffee.

It's not really close to anything but has great nature just outside and lots of parking. Food is above average but not particularly creative.

Would not recommend for couples/romance.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms on ground level (not basement).

Everything at this hotel comes at an extra fee; a refurbished room, tea/coffee making facilities, bath robes/slippers during your stay ... This lends a rather cheap&greedy atmosphere to the place.
The "superior" room for an extra 200 DKK is hardly superior; it's a fairly standard hotel room, rather small, with the tiniest bathroom we've ever seen. There was also a rather unpleasant smell coming from the shower drain and/or toilet, so the bathroom door had to be kept closed at all times, and any stay in the bathroom was kept to a minimum amount of time due to the smell. TV in the room was also small, and Internet, like everything else, is available at an extra fee ...
They also advertise their own line of bath and spa products with organic ingredients in the rooms and at reception with wording along the lines of "take the experience home with you", but unfortunately none of these products are provided in the rooms, instead they have wall-mounted soap dispensers in the shower and by the wash basin, and a small bottle of lotion that was far from organic and indulgent was provided in the room. No shampoo or conditioner provided at all, and none of the luxurious products that were advertised.
The pool&hot tub were nice, but unfortunately conference guest staying while we were there used the hot tub as a children's pool.
Breakfast was very nice, and the restaurant was decent, but pricey.
All in all, an OK place to stay, but be prepared for the fact that they'll try to make you spend as much money as they can.

Room Tip: 212 has a very unpleasant sewage smell from the bathroom - choose another room if you can.

Comwell Soro Stokro is beautifully located. We were however very disappointed when we entered the room. It smelled really bad. It was very small and there was no space for our luggage. The babycrib I requested wasn't in the room, simply because there was no space for it. I asked for a larger room and was shown a very sad looking, sigaret smelling room. The other possibility was a 900DK upgrade (that made a total of 1950 DK per night) to a suite, which we took. It was indeed much larger but that was it. There was dust, cobwebs, dirty tabs... The shower wasn't cleaned for ages. We didn't even dare use it. The whirlpool bath looked nice but the thermostat didn't work. That meant 2 seconds of ice cold water and then 2 seconds of boiling water... The toilet seat was broken and the phone didn't work. I swear I'm not exaggerating! Breakfast was very poor too. We have never before checked out at a hotel that early, but I just couldn't wait to get out. Not worth 4* at all!
