Great rainy day activity and a guaranteed way to see most of Alaska’s sea wildlife. The staff were great at explaining the rescue and rehabilitation work as well as how/where each species live in the wild. A good balance of higher level info for adults and kids’ activities.

It is an ok display of sea life and exhibits. Not worth the admission cost unless you have children to entertain on a rainy day.

We had a great time. It's a bit pricey, bit the had a special for Alaska residents. They had puffins, seals, and a touch pool and plenty of information about Alaskas oceans and research of the Alaska sealife scientists. Over all it was a great visit. The purple haired attendant was very knowledgeable and helpfull!

I would agree with the other reivew that said nice, but not exceptional. However, considering the population of Seward, it is amazing that they can support an aquarium. A bit expensive for the scope of this place, but woth a looksee if it is rainy or if you have children with you.

As an aquarium, the sea life center is fine, but it is the rehab work that they do that makes this destination so cool. You can get really close to the puffins in the aviary. Bring your camera! Great place to spend an hour. And the entrance fee is worth supporting the work they do with wildlife.
