“Awesome native Seward waiter, decent food ”
Reviewed June 5, 2014 via mobile

My dad and I went here for a late lunch. The first few things we wanted on the menu weren't available because they were seasonal or sold out. What we ended up being able to order was the chicken Parmesan and the halibut and chips. The halibut looked like "nuggets" but was very tasty. My dad loved the chicken parm and spaghetti. The waiter, who said his grandparents founded the town newspaper, was great: friendly, knowledgable about the area, didn't seem to mind answering questions, and efficient.

“Decent Food but excellent Wait staff !!”
Reviewed May 31, 2014 via mobile

The food options are gigantic and that makes it a family style place rather than an upscale eatery !!

The owner has some awesome greek collectibles and has kept the restaurant very nicely !!! Amazing Calzones and desert but the main course were just ok ......

“Bring Your Own Fish !”
Reviewed May 25, 2014

This is the Place to BYO Fish . Just go in and tell them them how you would like it prepared; fried or grilled. We had them do both. They will serve your fish family style with a salad and garlic mashed potatoes for $18 a person. The Meal was delicious and the first in Seward to fill our belly's .

“Excellent Calzone, Friendly Staff”
Reviewed May 8, 2014

Apollo was recommended to us by our hotel staff, so we Googled its location, and found it be within walking distance. After a quick peek at the menu, we decided to try it for sure. I had the spinach calzone, which was huge! They brush the outside with butter, which made the good bread better, and the ingredients were fresh. The marInara sauce was very good, the perfect complement to the calzone. I also had the Kassik's Blonde Ale, a local beer, and liked it, although I'm not much of a beer drinker. Ryan, our server, was just the right balance of friendly and efficient. Will definitely try this place again if I'm ever back in Seward!
