The beers were, well, fine. Honestly I wouldn't have the highest expectations for beers in Seward. I enjoyed mine, so I was happy with it. The food was quite good - we had burgers and the mac and cheese. And my husband had the Beer Cheese soup, which he really enjoyed.

We stopped in for a beer and a snack before getting on the train. Started with a flight. After the flight we had 1 beer and 1 root beer between two of us. The beers were ok. Also ordered the Ahi Poke Tacos. These were creative and pretty good. The bartender wasn't sure they could make it without cilantro - which seemed like an easy thing to take off (and was once she checked with the kitchen).

How do I know there were locals in the place? They were the only people the bartender was talking to! We (and the guy sitting next to us) were virtually ignored until we made eye contact or called her over. There seemed to be some construction/brewing going on upstairs. Patrons in the know were allowed to go upstairs, but it was blocked off by one chair when we got there and two chairs when we left.

As other viewers have said, a decent place to go in and have a beer. They have a few different seating areas which is nice. Also a great place to sit and talk to people that live in Seward.

Beers were pretty good overall. I liked the white, others at the table liked the red. Food was fine, service was good. We'll stop again when back in town.

We just went there to try the beers. It was pretty empty, being the middle of May so before the tourist season. They only had 3 beers, a red ale, IPA, and stout and they were all pretty mild. Got the impression they are brewing for the "masses" (i.e. cruise ship crowds), not beer snobs like us. It was a nice looking place and if they add a couple of more interesting brews it has could have potential. Sorry, can't comment on the food.

Our family enjoyed the meal and beer we had at the Brewery. The service was fast and friendly. The food was great we had a great Cheese soup, Burgers, Salmon, and a nice house salad.

The food was served hot and fresh, The wait staff did a nice job of coming back and refilling cups and tending to our needs. I had a nice black ale that had great taste and bite!

I would definitely eat and drink here again.
