“Nice and cozy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

Cathy and Ramon made us feel very welcomed in their home. We had the 'small room' in which we shared the bath with the main house but the bathroom is right across the room. They loaned us some jackets to wear considering that we were rather un prepared for seward's rainy weather. Breakfast is rather meager and I was expecting more after reading the description online... But I think if one asks for more or different items, Cathy would make it for you. Overall great value for money.
Also, if you arrive late at night, make sure you are done with dinner as there really is nothing to eat near the place and it is a good 20 min drive to seward.

We stayed at the Log Dreamin B&B for a night during our Alaska trip and just loved it. Ramon and Cathy were very friendly and helpful in planning our events and helped us getting discounts for cruises tickets as well. The Breakfast (included) is simple and just enough to kick start your day!

Also, very children friendly :-) Definitely recommended.

Our party of 7 stayed at the Log Dreamin' B & B and loved it. Cathy and Ramon were excellent hosts, very friendly and welcoming. We felt like we had known them for years. The loft was a great place for all of us to sit around and visit. Breakfast was ready for us early as we mentioned we planned to take off first thing in the morning. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and the bathroom upstairs was huge. We would definitely stay there again.

If you have a car to drive a few miles out of Seward, this is well worth it. We found the "suite" nicely decorated, full of everything needed for comfort. Cathy and Ramon made us feel right at home. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with two types of fresh fruit, granola, yogurt, OJ, bread, and Alaskan jam. They gave us excellent trip advice for restaurants and area attractions, even calling to see if one museum was open while we ate breakfast. Cathy also made reservations prior to our stay for a wildlife cruise in Kenai Fjords, which allowed us to get a 10% discount. My only regret is that we didn't have time to try out the whirlpool tub in the spacious bathroom.

Log Dreamin' is a nice little place few miles from Seward town. It is perfect for a sleepover especially if you are driving from Anchorage to Seward after a day full of activities. We were 5 friends and the stay at Log Dreamin' was very cozy and comfortable. The place is beautiful decorated and well-maintained. Cathy and Ramon were very kind and accommodating and ensured we had a very relaxing stay. A standard English breakfast is included in the stay. We stayed at 4 hotels and this B&B in our 5 day stay in Alaska, and this one was, without doubt, the best value for money! Definitely recommended!

I highly recommend Log Dreamin' Bed & Breakfast for anyone.
I stayed here for 2 nights in May. Cathy & Ramon were just amazing and exceptional host. I had a great time with them.
Cathy told me everything I wanted to know and Ramon was very friendly, I enjoyed talking with him very much! The weather was not good (a snow storm in May!), but thanks to them, my stay became a wonderful and unforgettable one.
Their home was pretty and comfortable. The room was cute, clean, and very quiet. The bathroom was a shared bathroom which was also very clean and had a nice shower. Breakfast was a bagel with blueberry jam and cream cheese, muffin, cereals, fruits, yogurt, milk, and orange juice...lots of choices! Above all, Cathy was so kind that she prepared coffee for me in the early morning, so I could enjoyed some hot coffee after a morning walking!
I stayed on the 1st floor with shared bathroom, but they showed me the suit on the second floor. The suit was very spacious, a nice view from windows, and a gorgeous bathtub!! I definitely come back here with my husband and stay the suit next time.
Thank you Cathy & Ramon!

We had such a great stay at the Log Dreamin' B&B. The kids both loved it and now would prefer B&B's to fancy hotels...we told them that not all B&B's were created equal. We had the upstairs suite which was clean and so comfortable. The bedding was plush and made you feel like 'home away from home' which is a big deal when you are on a roadtrip travelling many weeks away from the comforts of home. The internet hook-up was very helpful to catch up on emails from home and research what we needed for the rest of the trip. The home felt like it was remote as it was in a quiet area surrounded by trees but really it was 5 minutes from town - so, close for convenience and felt far enough for good R&R. Cathy helped us book the Kenai Fjord boat tour at a discount which we appreciated. Breakfast was scrumptious. We also appreciated the microwave, toaster, and mini-fridge which helped us with a few other meals.

We were even tempted to see if Cathy had vacancy a couple nights later when we were passing by again. We will definitely be back to stay with Cathy and Ramon on our next visit to Seward and can recommend this B&B without any hesitation.

Room Tip: The bedroom is large and has a high ceiling. There is a queen master bed, and a well-built bunk bed...
