Warm and friendly environment. We enjoyed staying and spending the evening in a lovely modern king suite. The bathroom was very large and the tub was amazing. If we ever travel back to Seward, we will stop and visit.

On our second trip to Alaska, we decided to start with 2 days in Seward and feel we got the best B&B in the area. Jan was delightful and very helpful. We actually liked the "breakfast on our own" ! The selection of breakfast items was more than adequate and coffee was great. The premises were immaculate and the design features of the home were tasteful and inviting. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed in Glacier Creek for 3 nights; this was by far the best B&B experience we had in Alaska - beautifully designed, cozy rooms, great view and very convenient location. Would definitely stay there again!

We just returned from our vacation in Alaska - didn't want to leave! - and both agreed that Glacier Creek Lodging was our favourite stop of our entire trip. We stayed 2 nights in the deluxe room, with VERY comfortable King bed, big screen flat tv, private entrance, deck, double sinks, jetted bath and awesome views. Jan was a warm and welcoming host, and we enjoyed the common room. - a apacious and beautiful kitchen/sitting area chalet style - and the serene setting.
Oh yes, we loved Seward as well, and for those who are looking for a challenging and breathtaking hike, don't miss the Harding ice field trail!

The location was great, room comfortable, though a little tight (but it did have a private bathroom, which is a plus), and cordial hostess. The breakfast had a lot to be desired, though. I've been in B&Bs that advertised a continental breakfast, which is fine, but the breakfast here was very minimal: bread, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, OJ, milk, and coffee/tea/hot cocoa. I had expected at least homemade banana bread, muffins, or something else besides what was there. Also, while the hostess was nice enough, she was rarely around, so the B&B was felt very empty and quiet.

We stayed at Glacier Creek for five days during our recent stay in Seward. The B&B is a quick drive from town (about 5 miles) nestled in a wooded area with creeks nearby. The view from the 2nd floor great room where breakfast is served (basic continental but available at your convenience) is stunning. Mountains are visible through cathedral windows, and we frequently saw eagles soaring in the distance. The rooms are well appointed, provide you with cable tv and wi-fi, a comfortable bed and sitting area. The room has its own outside entrance providing even greater flexibility. Glacier Creek has more amenities available than a hotel because, with Jan's permission, we were able to use the kitchen to cook a few times, eliminating the need to always eat at a restaurant. This was a bonus! Jan's hospitality was outstanding, and her personal knowledge of Alaska was also helpful. A clean, quiet B & B with all the comforts of home.
