The Bakery is across from the small boat harbor and US Park Service Visitor's Center. It's open for breakfast and lunch and is frequented by locals. Our first day in Seward we saw the park rangers eating there so we figured it was good. Great fresh pastries, egg dishes, and good coffee. Locally owned.

We stopped here on a rainy morning, to grab a cup of coffee. The breakfast special (omlet, hash browns, toast, coffee) for $9.50 looked good. After ordering we were told that the cook couldn't make an omlet - my husband ordered 3 eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee. The total was $15.50, when he tried to reason with the person that it was, at most, an extra egg - could not get thru to him. Finally the cook had to intervene, the total was now $11.75??? The food finally came out after 20 minutes, was very good, but no toast. The story goes on and on, but bottom line is that this is the only game in town and they can do whatever they want. Coffee and baked goods were very good, but not worth the hassel.

We came here for both lunch and breakfast. The bakery items were awesome. I loved the danish. We also got the breakfast sandwhich which was great. My husband got the brekfast burrito which was both delicious and HUGE!!! It was literally a giant breakfast wrapped into a huge buritto. The coffee/drink side of things was also good. My fiance loved the coffee and I really enjoyed the chai. Plus their to go cups were really pretty!

Lunch was awesome. They had customizeable deli sandwhiches. Normally that's kind of boring but I was happy to see they had cream cheese and cranberries that you could put with turkey. My husband had the cheesesteak which he really enjoyed.

The prices were completely resonable which was a relief in this town. Food is as a rule very expensive in the area.

The best sourdough pancakes that I had in Alaska. The service was a little slow but the pancakes were delicious. Good option for breakfast before your tour to the Kenai Fjords.
