Description: Welcome to the Railway Cantina in beautiful Seward, Alaska! A local favorite, we offer the best burritos, quesadillas, and tacos you'll have on the Kenai Penninsula. Our ingredients are fresh, and include housemade salsas, local halibut, reindeer, steak, chicken, shrimp, crab, salmon, falafel, and tofu. Along with your meal, enjoy a selection of Alaskan brewed beer or a glass of wine. We're located in the small boat harbor, across the street from the Seward Yatch Club. Looking forward to your visit!

This is a cantina setting. Order at the counter and take your food to your seat. I suggest sitting at the counter to watch the world of Seward go by. The fresh fish burritos are large and tasty. I would say the highlight of the meal was probably the house-made salsas and sauce. They were delicious. Don't be afraid to try the fruit salsa. Amazing!

We were really looking forward to the Cantina meal after several great reviews on TripAdvisor, but we were disappointed. The atmosphere was not great, but I suppose you can't hope for much in a small cantina. Beer was served in plastic cups, which really doesn't help good tap beer taste good! The nachos were no better than 7-11 - with fake yellow something smothered on them. The fish tacos were good and would have yielded a higher review, but the rest of these pieces lowered the overall score.

Is this a joke. Wow. I 'am going to post this for everyone to comment about. We are a hole in the wall and proud of it. This is obvious usually to everyone but some want-to-beer snob.

I can see why this place may not be for everyone. If you think its classic Mexican food you are mistaken. They take their own approach and step outside the comfort zone at times. Sometimes the salsa is a little strange, but I've always found my meals enjoyable and a decent value.

We ate there twice. For supper and for lunch the next day. We tried the roasted chicken, the blackend-halibutm and reindeer. All good! Great burritos! Fast service. Nice atmosphere... Good meal for the price.

Kind of a hole in the wall but adequate seating. Order at the counter then they bring it. Make SURE you try the draft Root Beer. Tasty indeed. Good size helpings and a selection of Beers as well. You can sit outside and this is a great place for a quick bite. Enjoy
