We (couple and 16-year old son) stayed in cabin number 4 for 2 nights in july 2012.
First thing when we arrived: we found out which one was our cabin, because they mention your name on a blackboard (or however you name it in english) next to the door = looks nice to me.
The cabins are like the owner describes it on his web-page alaskacabins.com " individual rustic cabin, built and decorated in authentic Alaskan style. Each cabin has a private bath, limited indoor and outdoor cooking and dining areas and warm, cozy lofts in addition to the main rooms." So you should not expect a huge kitchen, but you can prepare yourself a small breakfast. You can also use (for a small contribution) the on site washing machine (and they have a lot of DVD to use)
For us the location was perfect: in the wood, but very close to Seward (only a few minutes drive by car)
The only thing that might not be perfect: on a cold day the heater might not heat up sufficiently the whole cabin (but that is a womans opinion, men might thing different)More
