We stayed in cabin #4 and enjoyed a peaceful and comfortable stay for 6 nights. The bed was very comfortable and extra blankets (that smelled wonderful!) were available for the cooler nights.

The picture window view was awesome! Moss, ferns and trees with no view of neighbors was spectacular. This cabin had shade earliest in the day which made sleeping during daylight hours very easy.

TV worked well, though no cable. However, the local news comes through and Betty, the owner, has a large variety of movies and books available to borrow (located in laundry room). The laundry facilities are also available for use, soap included, for $6/load in the evenings.

The bathroom had herbal, scented soaps and shampoo available. The shampoo/body wash smelled delicious and was in a dispenser on the wall - a nice green alternative to using small disposable containers! The hot water heater was small but we spaced out our showers and it wasn't an issue.

Cabin had a small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee pot and charcoal grill. We bought a pot from a garage sale down the street and did all of our cooking on the grill at the cabin.

The cabins are only 5 minutes from town. Extremely convenient to the Kenai Fjord glacier cruise, Lowell Point for kayaking, and Exit Glacier for adventures. Nash Rd, which is the turn off the main highway to get to the cabins, offers a quick road out of town to quiet beaches the locals use. Fishing and low-tide beachwalks are wonderful if you have time. This is a hot spot for low-tide salmon snagging as well - something we definitely would have done if we only knew before hand!

The road to the cabin was a little shady but the property is past that small section and set far off the road. And apparently Jim, the owner, is the local jailer according to the neighbor that had the garage sale, so this is probably the safest place in town! Ha!

The owners are a quiet and sweet couple and we really enjoyed the peaceful stay at Salmon Creek Cabins. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to all of our friends!

Room Tip: Cabin # 4 gets early shade and has only one cabin neighbor. It's also the first cabin on the property. It's so quiet on the property though that it really doesn't matter which one you stay in.

We only stayed for one night in Cabin 1, but we will be sure to come back. The cabin was spacious and clean with cool Alaska themed decor. We fit 8 comfortably with room to spare. The owners were so friendly and flexible making it a relaxing experience. The location is great, just outside of Seward, although the entrance can sneak up on you so just keep a keen eye out for it.

Lovely cabins set in a peaceful spot. The quiet is awesome! It is about a mile out of town, so need to have transportation. We are from Alaska-so we drove. These are VERY clean and very affordable. Friendly owners, but not intrusive & welcoming to children :) we will be back!

We stayed in Cabin 4, a brand new cabin which was beautifully done. Room featured a queen bed, with a second queen bed in a loft. Located just outside Seward and the road to Exit glacier. Well situated in a very peaceful location.

Room Tip: Cabin 4 is brand new.

My husband and I stayed in cabin 3. It was great. Very clean and comfortable. It was small but was everything we needed. We loved the quiet and loved the proximity to Seward and Whittier. The picture window in the back opened to the forest and was beautiful
