“Villa at E Hotel Spa”
Reviewed October 10, 2012

Stayed in both the villa and studio at E Hotel. Enjoyed both but prefer the studio as they have a nice view. We sat on our balcony with another couple and had a bottle of wine watching the sun set. Rooms are somewhat small but adequate. We enjoy quiet areas and this hotel is very quiet. Enjoyed the homemade ravioli at the restaurant too. Rooftop has a wonderful view of the coast and sea. Would stay here again.

Room Tip: Stay in the studio if you don't need a lot of space. They have very large balconies.

i had a massage in their spa and the manageress of the spa was very nice and helpful. The food in their restaaurant (franke) was amaizing.

ok let's begin,
we've booked a garden villa at e-hotel, when we got there about 10 pm, we've been placed in a standart rooms n104 and 105 whithout explaining the matter in regards of the villa, the receptionist said we've got some problems with the villa. we were travelling with a 8 month baby, and been told that rooms we've been given instead are very nice, quiet and with excellent view, so perfect for a family with a child. But we ended up staying awake up till 4 am, because of the shouting and screaming, also loud music comming from rooms next door and a level above. Also the promised excelent view ended up being a view of a busy road. we've seen the reception a couple of times to quiet things down, but we've been told by security and receptionist Valerya that the noise are comming from people which just got back to the hotel, and they can't do nothing about it.
Next morning we refused to stay any longer in those rooms, and asked for our villa, but the reservation manager Ioda has told us that all the villas are busy, she said that despite that we have booked a villa in advance a "magic" mistake can happen and the villa will stil be ocupied because of the failure by the reservation team. She was very unhelpful, we've asked to contact the higher manager or head office, on which we got told to go and find the contact numbers by ourselves, when we asked for refund she said that is not her bussiness. And if we will ever get refunded the hotel will demand £500 back for the rooms they provided.
the situation went out of the control she was shouting and screaming, we said that we want to call the pollice, and magic has happened, we've got given the keys to our villa within a couple of minutes.
when we got there the villa was empty and clean, ready to accomodate 3 adults and an infant, the cot bed was set up as well, that was the exact thing we asked for when we booked our holliday, the question remains unanswered - why the villa wasn't given to us in the first place???????
The interesting thing was, when we got to the reception the next day day to ask for something, the guest couple at the reception had the same issue as us, instead of a villa they've been given the same standart rooms as us.
The villa itself had problems with the drainage, it took ages for the bath, shower and toilets to drain out. on the 3-rd day day it was finaly fixed.
in the spa department the steam room was out of service on our entire holliday.
the spa offers only steam room, 2 swimming pool, sauna, masage which cost 95 euro per hour.
The nearest shop is located in the village Pervolia, which is about 40 min walk, the taxi will cost you 10 euro.
The breakfast doesn't offer you a great choise, you don't wan't to come back to it after 3-4 mornings. No fresh fruit available only conserved ones.
If you want to have a nice dinner, our advice is to do it in Pervolia, the dinner in the hotel will cost 25 euro, but for the same amount of money you get a much better meal that in the hotel.
We've asked for the irong service, a price list, such a thing was not available at the reception, so we've been given an iron and ironing board after a 6 hours waiting.
And finaly our last day of staying, the hotel had a wedding reception, and the noise from the wedding did not let us to go to bed up until 2 am, despite teh hotel rulles to keep quiet after 23:00.

We've just returned from 12 nights at this wonderful hotel. As mentioned by other reviewers this small hotel is approx 20 minutes taxi ride from Larnaca airport which cost 15 euro. The first impression of the hotel was it's beautiful, airy and very clean, with a lot of thought put into its interior design and finer detail. The service we experienced during our stay was excellent and all of the staff were very friendly. Its obvious the GM who was also very nice runs a tight ship. Our room which was a standard double room was beautiful and spacious. The large bed was very extremely comfortable, with white crisp white cotton sheets which were changed every two days. The room was cleaned daily.....thoroughly. We had a beautiful view overlooking the sea and Troodos mountains which made for very romantic sunsets. The food was very good although the portion sizes were perhaps a bit too generous (not complaining). The poolside area was very pretty. The spa area was gorgeous offering amazing range of treatments. Davina who runs the spa provides a excellent standard of service and care to the hotel clientele. I initially tried a great deal on offer for 65 euros which included a hydrotherapy bath with essential oils, followed by a massage and facial using Declor products by the lovely therapists (Linda). I floated out of the spa incredibly relaxed. My husband used the gym daily.......seriously!! he's used to using free weights but was nore than happy with the results of the resistance machines. They also have running machines. The only thing I would honestly add to this wonderful hotel are a few more irons and ironing boards please!!
The beach across the road is a sandy beach, although not spectacular it certainly provided the all of the necessities if you get too hot or would like a change of scenery from the pool. The closest village Pervolia is about 20 minutes walk (During the summer months it is not recommended to attempt this walk at hottest part of the day unless of course you would like to experience a scene from The Good, The Bad and The Ugly!!) or a few minutes on the bus is a lovely little village. There a several restaurants including Indian and Chinese, although Kokos Taverna was definitely our favorite choice. Kokos and his family serve up gorgeously fresh traditional Cypriot food including very nice vegetarian dishes which are all very reasonably priced. All in all the hotel was peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of Larnaca town but if you hire a car or motorbike you can enjoy the spectacular beaches and historical sites Cyprus has to offer but if you would like a quiet getaway in stylish surroundings the E Hotel is perfect.

We have just returned from 10 days at this hotel, we were attending a wedding there. The hotel was great just a few little things that cropped up. There was only 1 iron and ironing board between all the guests in the hotel and considering the hotel was fully booked with guests attending the wedding all waiting on the iron it was a bit frustrating. The other problem was there was only 6 hangers in the very small wardrobe. The wardrobe was tiny with sliding doors which kept getting jammed against the drawers. Another hic-cup was that there wasnt a plug near a mirror to dry your hair although there was a fixed hairdryer in the bathroom.

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the pool and the beach and it was beautiful.

We have just returned from a week staying at the E hotel on a half board basis. As previous reports state this hotel is about 20 minutes from Larnaca airport, it's located in the middle of an almost deserted, half built and mostly unfinished new town type of development. There are no shops & if you don't hire a car there are only one or two little bars within walking distance. However the local bus into Larnaca runs every half an hour and is very cheap! Breakfast in the hotel is a buffet style which is fresh and constantly being topped up. Evening meals are taken in Frankie's restaurant, the half board menu consists of a choice of two starters, two mains or Omlete & chips, and a sweet or ice cream. This may not sound great but the food is lovely and again fresh and cooked to order, I would have liked a vegetarian option other than omelet but the staff did try and help with this.. Unlike some previous reviews we found all the staff to be very nice, smiley, friendly and professional. The hotel and bedrooms are all spotlessly clean, however I did think the poolside furniture is looking a bit tired and there needs to be more tables and chairs for outside dinning rather than the benches and low tables... The pool is on the small side but it is only a small hotel. The hotel do provide plenty of towels for use around the pool area, during our stay there was a problem with the pool water and the pool had to be closed for a day. The poolside cocktails are a real must, especially As you have to pay for drinking water & as there is no where to buy it other than the hotel I thought this was a little expensive. I would recommend this hotel for a very quiet & relaxing week away in the sun In a clean and quietly stylish hotel.

Like the majority of reports about this destination the first thing to say is that this is a very nice hotel with good facilities, bar, restaurant gym and spa. The food could not be faulted - we're not fans of buffet food but even the buffet style half board option is of a very high standard. The breakfasts are also excellent. The rooms are spacious, clean and generally well appointed. There is a reasonable upgrade available to one of the garden villas attached to the hotel - these look spectacular each one boasting a private plunge pool.

All the staff are very friendly and extremely professional.

A few 'oddities' - the separate beach bar which is just over the road has been 'closed for renovation' for some time, as has the hotel Sky lounge. It actually appears there aren't enough customers to sustain these facilities. This however does not impact on the main hotel area. The spa/gym is exceptional and well attended. I had a back massage - €15 for 15 minutes - just great.

I'd say this hotel is wonderful for medium stays of three or four days of total relaxation, or maybe longer if you have a car and are exploring the island. It's also very handy for Larnaca airport - just 10 minutes away by taxi.

There are no restaurants or bars within easy walking distance. The closest ones are in Pervolia village where there is a small number of Cypriot and English bars and restaurants.

The area (Kiti peninsular near Pervolia) is clearly a 'work in progress' - very quiet with several villa developments, some occupied, many for sale or rent.

All in all a relaxing seven days but I'd personally had enough after five - just a bit on the quiet side for me but I'm sure many would welcome this!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the sea are nice. worth the upgrade for the garden villas
