The hotel is located right next to the beach in Vodice. The hotel is large with very good rooms and very clean. A good swimming pool with of beds and umbrellas. There are two areas which require attention, the first is the food, while plenty of it the quality needs improvement and attention paid to the temperature of the food. The second gripe would be the noise from the bar especially if you room overlooked the swimming pool. Apart from these two items we enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: Forget about overlooking the pool and go for a garden room.

We recently spent three nights at the Olympia as part of a Riviera tour. The hotel is large and rather rambling. On the night of our arrival the main dining room was closed for a wedding and guests were served in a small adjacent room which got extremely crowded. The celebrations went on well into the early hours and some of our party were kept awake – not funny for those who had a very early start to catch their flight. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, but each block is served by just one small lift – not sufficient when guests are arriving/departing with their luggage. Food in the dining room, served buffet style, was good, but the selection, particularly of fresh fruit, significantly lessened throughout our stay, after a wonderful start. In fact one morning, five minutes after the dining room opened, all the fruit (except for tinned fruit salad) had gone. Drinks are very reasonably priced for a 4* hotel. The hotel is a short walk to Vodice and can be reached by walking through the gardens, down to the beach and then along to the centre. There is an attractive swimming pool but the weather wasn’t good enough to tempt us!

Room Tip: Aim for a lower floor in case you have to carry up your luggage!

It's a 4 star hotel situated about 20 minute walk from the center of the Vodice town. You can visit lots of interesting and beautiful destinations from Vodice, like Zadar, Šibenik, Krka waterfalls etc.

The hotel is qute big, very beautiful, the personel is kind. The rooms are quite spacious, with big balcony. They have free wi-fi, air conditon, Sat TV (LCD), mini bar. The bathroom had a beautiful shower and a hair drier.
The food was good and with lot of choise. We have had a full buffet, there was a little less choise for lunch, because not too many people eat it. For breakfast and dinner there was much more too choose from. The one thing I didn't like a lot was, that there were not enough children chairs and if you got one it was not that clean. Also, if you don't like to eat in the company, there were not many tables for 4 persons, most of them were for 8-10 persons. So because of a very big crowd especially at dinner time, you almost never sit at your own table.

The hotel has it's own wellness and fitness, an big outdoor swimming pool with fresh water and a small one for children. There is also one bar, a gift shop and and small turist agency that can organize trips for you.

The beach is very cloes, about 50 m, it's beautiful, with small stones, teh water is clean. The sun-beds and umbrelas are free at the swimming pool, but you have to pay for them on the beach, and they are quite expensive, about 30 € / day.
There are some bars on the beach, a restaurant, stands with fruit, pancakes and souvenirs.
There are also some water slides and a water jet rental. During the high season there are some children trains, of course not for free.

The location of the hotel is really good, close to the sea, away from the city but not too far for a walk. If you don't want to walk, you can go to the city by a road train, that goes from the hotel every 20 minutes. It's not that cheap and you also have to pay for children.

The hotel has it's own supervised parking, but you have to pay 5 €/ day for it.

Anyhow....the hotel is beautiful and the town of Vodice is wonderful, what I really missed is, that there were not many children playgrounds nearby, there was not a lot of tree shadow and that even if we were there on the first week of September it was quite crowded....I've heard that it's almost impossible to walk in August.

Nice location and comfortable room (323) with balcony and pleasant view towards the sea. However the carpet was badly stained with wine and other unidentifiable things. Plenty of storage and good ensuite shower and wc.

Unfortunately the food was not of the standard I expected for a 4 star hotel and we were half board . There was a wedding taking place on the evening of arrival which was very noisy. The second night the entertainment was also very disturbing.

The outside areas were attractive and the swimming pool looked inviting but in October I was not tempted.

I travelled with a group.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms overlooking pool and close to dining room because of the noise of the entertainment. Mine was not as badly affected as others in my group.

3 nights at this hotel were a great way start to our holiday. Our accomodation (Room 219) was ideal with a great view out over the pool area and with sea views. During our stay the weather was still quite hot and it was a shame that the air con had been switched off because the main season was over!

The buffet food was very good with a great choice and attentive staff on hand if they were needed.

The hotel's location ment that you could easily stroll along the sea shore to reach the small town with it's bars and restaurants.

We enjoyed our visit to the city of Split which can be reached in less than 1 hour.

Room Tip: Room 219 has a great view over the pool and to the sea.
