Description: You can find restaurant Bota Sare, Mali Ston in narrow center waterfront, situated within the old castle. Wide palette of fresh fish, unique oysters, shellfish is prepared as per original local recipes that bring finger licking food to your table (ask for gradele, popara, buzara, brudet). Do not miss to try local risotto, black risotto, and homemade bread from natural fire heated oven. We also invite you to take a boat trip to see Ston's Bay and to visit the place where the Sare family is growing shellfish close to the Banje Island which is owned by family Sare and family Matkovic. On Banje Island there is a large number of various Mediterranean herbs and over 200 olive threes which provide the olive oil for Bota restaurants. The experience of visiting the island will be improved by the special program which can be prepared in advance. For many different possibilities, please consult the restaurant Manager Tomislav Šare.

We stopped here today for refreshments. Sat outside at the water's edge and it was so quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommend.

Bota Šare is a restaurant with branches in Zagreb and Split.
I always visit the one in Ston, because and first of all of oysters, which I adore. They make other specialties, like black risotto with squid ink, the food is delicious, but in summer there are just too many guests for the wiaters to pay to much attention.

Advised of this wonderful place by the receptionist at the Radisson, I drove from Orasac enjoying the never-ending, breathtaking views. A beautiful drive!! Finally arrive at the Restaurant, I'm the only guest, but received with such warmth and a welcome handshake! The waiter did not speak any English, but we managed! I ordered the Bota fish platter and was not disappointed.Great tasting local wine too. Fantastic quality and absolutely FRESH fish. OHHHHH I'm gonna back, soon!!

We had a Great Lunch at Bota;
We choose a table outside to enjoy the scenic view & avoid the crowd of Cruise Groups which seems to be coming regularly.
Raw & cooked oysters are a must; But Mussels are very good as well.
On top of a great Croatian White Wine, we had a Bottle of the Red Korta Katarina 2010 (Plavac Mali grapes) & it was a delight... it's a Great Wine.
The waiter was very nice & even offered us a bottle of Olive Oil they make.
Wifi does not work well outside (their walls are too thick !), but works well inside.
