This unit was a wonderful haven for our two couples. The lanai was our favorite spot where we spent much of our time and where we ate all our at-home meals. Gorgeous sunsets every evening, lovely fragrances, refreshing ocean breezes, fascinating views of surfers, boats and occasional turtles all from our lanai!
Aloha Jan and Dick,
My family of 5 stayed in the condo Kona Bali Kai Absolute Oceanfront for 7 days. The condo was in excellent condition, well equipped in all the rooms , especially in the kitchen. We even discovered some surf boards and snorkeling devices on the sundeck. My family was totally satisfied with the condo. Maybe a grab bar in the shower stall for elderly people would be a great addition. An indoor swimming pool and a small popular restaurant (Da Poke Shack) were right on the premises.
The location of the condo was perfect, not very far from the airport, close to Kona for shopping and restaurants and even a sandy beach (White Sands Beach) close by.
I missed a concierge in the lobby who could have advised us sometimes with travelling plans. I also had to get used to the lobby being open limited hours only. I also would have liked to meet you or the manager of the condo, Georgia Santos. We only communicated via email with you and on the phone with her. That was a bit impersonal for me. But whenever I had a question before the trip you were very helpful answering me.
To summarize our stay in your condo: It was a great place, convenient to town and other places, a very well managed and quiet facility. We can strongly recommend it.
Mahalo and Aloha!

This is the second time we have rented this particular condo and we'll keep coming back! The location right on the beach in Kona and all of its amenities make it special. A large lanai to relax on and eat; one the bedrooms faces the water so the sound of the waves can put you to sleep every night; really well equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer. We are also avid snorkelers and have been all over the island and one of our favorite snorkel beaches is about 5 minutes away (Kahalu'u Beach Park). Once you stay here, you'll never go back to hotels in Hawaii (I can't even imagine what an oceanfront room costs at the Four Season....actually I do! I looked it up and you can stay here for a week for what it costs for one night at the Four Seasons!). Aloha!
My husband and I stayed 8 nights and enjoyed the area, which is situated about halfway between Kona and Keauhou; it is quieter than staying in town. Turtles and birds and surfers and whales can be see very near the complex. The building is not new, but it is well maintained. This unit has a nicely appointed kitchen, but the bedding and linens seemed old and faded, and there was a thick layer of dust on a couple of the tables. One problem with this particular unit is that it sits directly above the communal barbecue grills and picnic tables. We had groups of people down there every night, cooking and eating (and laughing and talking), so our romantic sunsets drinking wine on the deck were somewhat spoiled.
